Major Democratic fundraisers have been invited to meet with Vice President Joe Biden at his residence at the U.S. Naval Observatory after Labor Day, part of a series of conversations he is having with senior party players as he contemplates jumping into the 2016 race.
Among the guests invited to the gathering are top bundlers who raised large sums for the Obama-Biden campaigns in 2008 and 2012, according to people familiar with the outreach. The sitdown is scheduled to take place during the week following Labor Day.

Would not vote for Biden, but would much rather see him as POTUS than Hillary.
Looks like the DNC has dumped old Cankles.
I though it was illegal to fund raise at Pres and VP residences which are the American people ‘ schomes !
Not brain dead leftist party dens !
He’ll win it, too.
So many shoulders---so little time.
I expect this will ignite a civil war between the Clinton and Obama factions of the party. Pass the popcorn.
What they’re trying to figure out now is how for her to exit the race without admitting guilt it has anything to do with emails.
The pardon was promised. Bill has the dirt on Obama.
I’ll bet she is so P.O.’d that she has smoke coming out of her ears.
Note to Billy - Get rid of the ash trays in the house.
I think the she’s out, right now they’re just negotiating for her unwavering support with threats of prosecution.
I visited a friend (an admiral’s son) who lived at the naval observatory before it became the VP residence. We got to watch a movie, order hamburgers and ice cream from the kitchen and drive cars (when I was too young to drive) on the roads on the Observatory grounds. There were a lot of kids there.
My dad was a Captain in the Navy and couldn’t tell me not to go...but he was worried about what would happen there and usually would say no to boys asking me over that young. Navy brats can be rather bratty. But the admiral’s son was really fun and nice. Got me home on time. He was protective of me like a big brother. My dad liked him. So I hung out with him a lot. His dad was short in attitude to us kids. He had a lot of rules but he let us drive.
He knew how to have fun but not inappropriate, given my age, (except driving) at all. He taught me to ride a horse and we did that a lot and I trained for and ran in a race with him. We did a lot of fun things over the years when my family was stationed there. The Naval Observatory is a classy place.
I am convinced that Biden has brain damage.
