COMMENT: Back during the Bubba regime, I used to know a bunch of folks in WHCA (White House Communications Agency). The reign of terror of Her Thighness, along with her hangers-on, was well known back then at that time. Getting a phone literally thrown in your direction was not uncommon if ANYTHING was not perfect (such as a less-than-perfect satellite connection where there was a minimal footprint or, heaven forbid, some delay in a multi-hop circuit).
They were so utterly hated that the leadership at Andrews had to give direct orders for people stationed there to change into civilian clothes and form a "rent a crowd" at the flightline whenever DV flights (Bubba, the Hildabeast, Algore, etc) arrived (so the news media could film/report that an "impromptu" crowd of supporters greeted them as they arrived back to Andrews).
