Good evening!
The weekend is over and stocks are resuming their slide.
Shortly after futures opened on Sunday night, Dow futures were down as much as 102 points, S&P 500 futures were off as many as 11 points, and Nasdaq futures were down around 30.
These moves, however, are muted compared to the turmoil seen in markets last week, when the Dow lost more than 1,000 points and officially entered a "correction" after falling more than 10% from its most recent high.
Overall, the stock market had its worst week in 4 years and people are pointing the finger all over the place.

I’m waiting to see if the “big money” gets back in and starts a buying frenzy. It’s happened in the past. I sure hope it happens again. Otherwise...kiss your retirement bye-bye.
Myself, I wish I had some extra cash lying around to buy oil production stocks. It will eventually come back up.

Ditto. There’s definitely bargains out there...
For example CAT & XOM both are trading in the 70’s after Thursday and Friday... both were already down from the oil price decline.
Each of them throws off a healthy dividend, currently 4+%.
Both companies will be around for a long time to come, I’m betting.

WTI Crude at $39.50, and we're about to get slammed with low gasoline prices.
Catastrophe.
All kidding aside this is seriously messed up. How much longer can the WH
and their Cult media keep up this fiasco of lies. Or should I say, house of cards.

Stock analyst Harry Dent a couple of years ago predicted that the stock market will plummet to DJIA 6,500 around the 2015-2016 time frame, then do a slower drop to DJIA 3,500 when it finally hits bottom. Love him or not, it appears he may be right this time around.
And that will then make a general world war increasingly possible because too many countries will have nothing to lose by starting a war as a means to shore up the local economy.

This will go well beyond a correction. We’re looking at a Black Monday scenario.

You initial number was a left over from the week before. I do not believe there are any US market futures active at 1pm on a Sunday.
