After telling an NBC reporter unambiguously that he supported ending birthright citizenship, Scott Walker on Friday changed his mind, saying his new position is that he has no position, that he is now undecided again.

Walker can not be trusted. As I have pointed out to you before Walker is owned lock stock and barrel by the GOPe big money donors. He might actually be a good guy, but that does not matter because he is NOT his own man. The above is a perfect example of what I was talking about.

He saw Trump getting traction on the anchor baby thing and wanted to be a "me too" candidate. Then he got a call from K St and had to walk it back. Sorry CW, no sale.

You’re a useful tool for circulating “headline news.” And Newsmachete is an anti-Walker activist.

It appears that the “media” interpreted Walker’s answer to a question and made it a headline.

Then they said he had to clarify (the media’s mistake).

So now the story becomes that Walker changed his mind.

Interesting how that works.

KASIE HUNT: Do you think that birthright citizenship should be ended?

SCOTT WALKER: Well, like I said, Harry Reid said it’s not right for this country — I think that’s something we should, yeah, absolutely, going forward —

HUNT: We should end birthright citizenship?

WALKER: Yeah, to me it’s about enforcing the laws in this country. And I’ve been very clear, I think you enforce the laws, and I think it’s important to send a message that we’re going to enforce the laws, no matter how people come here we’re going to enforce the laws in this country.

HUNT: And you should deport the children of people who are illegal immigrants?

WALKER: I didn’t say that — I said you have to enforce the law, which to me is focusing on E-Verify.

A Walker spokeswoman followed up to clarify Walker’s position on immigration, saying his position is as follows:

“We have to enforce the laws, keep people from coming here, enforce E-Verify to stop the jobs magnet, and by addressing the root problems we will end the birthright citizenship problem.”
