The conservative Christian organization for which Josh Duggar was a lobbyist has released a statement following his confession Thursday that he cheated on his wife Anna and was addicted to pornography.
"Last night we learned from online reports about allegations concerning Josh Duggar and then read his confession today. We are grieved by Josh's conduct and the devastating impact of his pornography addiction and marital unfaithfulness," reads the statement from Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. "Our hearts hurt for his family, and all those affected by Josh's actions. His deceitful behavior harms his family, his friends, his former coworkers, and the cause he has publicly espoused."
"Those of us who advocate for family values in the public square are held to a higher standard, and Josh's failures serve as a painful reminder of the destructive effects of not living with integrity," Perkins continues. "We are praying for the family."

I’m not sure facebook was around in ‘04.
At least not accessible to a homeschool teen from NW Arkansas.
Not that I don’t think he’s a total perv and an a(youknowwhat) for doing this to his wife.
Wasn’t he working on a family friend’s political campaign around that time? I had read that he was caught looking at porn on a computer during the campaign.
While the internet may have been monitored at home he apparently found other venues to get access to the internet.
Yes he was.
It would appear he did.
Yes there was facebook back then!
and yes he was caught here is the story about that
Thanks for the link.
I had heard about watching stuff at the politician’s office though.
Hope for Anna’s sake he was much more discreet in the meantime. Because you KNOW the tabloids will be digging hard to find out what he was up to between the incidents.
Nope. Look again. It is confusing, but it was created in 2012, and has events going back to 2004.
You can add “life events” at any time after you create the account. Your birth, moves, marriage, etc.
Don’t stop there! Then Jesus turned to the woman and after forgiving her sin, he admonished her to “Go and sin no more.” Had she continued her sin, totally unrepentant, and ended up back in the square, would Jesus have let her die?
Josh needs to cut it out. He’s hurt enough people with his sex problem. The public consequences he receives over and over again are well earned for a guy who pretends to be a Christian and speak for Christians. God will decide if he’s guilty on a soul level or not. But on a human level, he is a human wrecking ball on families.
OK, that makes sense.
What a little d-bag he is.
The only people you can cast stones at are gay people. I am not sure about gay pastors, but Elton John, Ellen DeGeneres, Rosie O’Donnell? Bombs away!!!
