That was the first presidential election I was old enough to vote in (age 23). I was asked to and did serve as an observer in our little town’s polling place, I helped illiterate people vote, many black people from outlying farm areas, who voted straight democrat ticket.
In a district that usually voted overwhelmingly democrat, the vote wound up being split equally three ways. Yes, Wallace on the ballot pulled a lot of votes from Humphrey.

I am thinking the same thing. There are people on the left who as P*&^%$ed off with their party as the right are. Have been talking to Dems who are NOT going to vote for Hillary and are listening to what Trump is saying.

It seems that way. I would like to see the real conservatives abjure these fake debates and conduct a couple on their own terms about issues and positions rather than about the interlocutors trying to besmirch the less favored candidates. If Trump is involved they will be aired on MSM.
If they do this Trump will be up 5-10 points the next day.
So what kind of Constitution would Trump and friends write? I hope they read the debates of the founding fathers and learn from the mistakes of those who did not follow in their footsteps...
