The Center for Medical Progress, which released its seventh video Wednesday, didn’t immediately return a call and email seeking comment. In an earlier statement, the Irvine, Calif., group said it would contest any attempts to suppress its free-speech rights. It also said in a statement on its Facebook page that it “follows all applicable laws in the course of our investigative work.”
The letter reflects a growing offensive from state and congressional Democrats in their support of Planned Parenthood. The center is under investigation in two states, and a group of congressional Democrats has called on the Justice Department to launch a probe into whether the antiabortion group broke any laws, such as recording without consent.
Antiabortion advocates have said the videos show Planned Parenthood is illegally profiting from fetal tissue from abortions that it provides for research. Planned Parenthood said it has broken no laws, and that the videos are heavily edited and part of a smear campaign.
Planned Parenthood is also under investigation by congressional committees and some states.
The letter from Mr. Cummings says that the center’s “disturbing actions” raise questions about whether members of Congress were made aware of the center’s potentially illegal actions but took no action before the videos went public. It names Rep. Tim Murphy (R., Pa.), chairman of the House Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, as one member who was aware of potentially illegal activities by the center weeks before the videos went viral

What does this even mean? If Rep. Cummings can show any illegality then do it - he's had a month and a half dozen staffers to investigate the matter.
We have three more releases of video from this investigative group. ech video has been more gruesome nthen the last. I am betting the last video will be a doozy

Cummings is saying that Murphy needs to be prosecuted.
This is intended to scare people off from doing a similar video sting operation.
Yeah, prosecuted for not investigating something that he (Cummings) can't show is illegal. This is just a fundraising pitch to PP by Cummings.
