Billionaire real estate mogul and presidential candidate Donald Trump continues to dominate the GOP field both in hurling insults at his fellow Republicans and in the polls, but now it appears his rivals have decided that if theyre going down, theyre going down swinging.
The Fox Business Network has learned that at least some of the campaigns are discussing an attack-ads blitz against The Donald in the coming weeks, according to several financial executives who have direct ties to the various campaigns. These people tell Fox Business that the campaigns of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in particular are currently raising money with aims to hit Trump on various issues such as his controversial comments about immigration, as well as his record as a businessman, in these ads.
The campaign of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul may also follow suit, they say. Those likely to stay out of the anti-Trump attacks include Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who has a similar position to Trump on immigration and is looking to siphon some of Trumps support.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, meanwhile, is expected to spend money from his enormous war chest, which includes more than $100 million in so-called Super PAC money. But the Bush spending is expected to focus on his record in politics and underscore his skills as a candidate rather than in attacking rivals, fundraisers tell Fox Business. Super PACS are fundraising vehicles that can raise unlimited amounts of money but cant work directly with campaigns.

Every time one of these guys opens up on Trump, he goes up five points and they go down five points.
Come one, come all, drive Trump’s numbers over 50%. Goose eggs are going cheap...
I highly suspect Walker, Rubio are financed by the same PAC money that’s behind the establishment pick, Jeb Bush.
If they think Paul can get an attack on Trump to stick, that PAC money will pay him too.
Bush is letting the lesser candidates do his attacking for him while he remains above the fray.
My son worked for HP during Fiorina’s time, as did a lot of other people I know. Fiorina was widely despised as a CEO within HP for poor decision-making, and HP lost enormous amounts of talent to other companies during that time. She was eventually fired, and from what I understand it was for pretty good cause.

Instead of wasting time and money on that, why don’t they just run adds telling us WHAT THEY WILL DO TO SOLVE AMERICA’S PROBLEMS.
Oh, but they might offend the elites if they did that. No, better just to try to attack the one who is not running with the herd straight off the cliff.
Or they don’t have any solutions themselves. It’s not going to help their campaigns if they’re whole platform is bashing Trump.
I think the dwarves have to at least make a show of trying to take down Trump...rather than hording their money for next year.
Either way, it won’t matter - Trump will simply CLOBBER them over the head in response.
Lol people don’t care if he’s a true conservative or true anything.
People hate lying pols, hate the border invasion, hate 8 years of the worst economy sine 1929, hate the misuse of our military for political gain, etc...
People believe he’s telling the truth, that he will fix the border, and will repair our economy. In a phrase, people believe he’ll make America great again.
The people who break on Trump for not being something simply do not have the same worldview....they are ok with lying pols, ok with a border invasion, and ok with nearly a decade of shitty economy, reduced wage at etc.
If they don’t figure it out ... And I’m no holding my breath, we will have him as a president.
They have to go!
That is a LOT MORE than any other Republican has been saying. So they can try to pin him down, but it doesn’t really matter, because there is no one else even bringing up the topic of deportations.
I think if Cruz is the nominee, Trump will stay in the fold. If it’s anyone BUT Cruz, Trump will go third party. And I will work my ass off for him.
Too hypocrite. Outsourced thousands of jobs. Ran HP into the ground. Bailed out and slinked away with with her golden parachute.
I agree Trump is no saint, it’s fun to see him go on about illegal immigration or attack the squishes in the GOP. But, if people would look into his very recent past they’ll find a man who has flip-flopped on his ideology numerous times. Jeb, Rubio and Walker are terrible candidates, but it won’t be hard to hit Trump on issues such as, health care, supporting liberal policies and politicians and his use of eminent domain. We’ll have to see how this shakes out.
The sweet thing is that they are likely to have to end up supporting Cruz if they want to have a chance.....
Go ahead, GOPe, grab that tar baby.
Please note, everyone—while Walker, and to some degree Rubio, tries to pretend publicly for the base that they endorse a similar anti-immigration approach, as he has reportedly been doing all along, Walker has a different story for his open borders and pro-amnesty financial backers.
Walker is a GOPe-tool fraud.
The public likes Trump because he is a free man. They have become educated to the insider wheeling and dealing in Washington and have HAD ENOUGH! They’ll take Trump warts and all.
I don’t believe she increased their revenues by many fold. In fact, I believe their stock was in severe decline at the time she left. If there is evidence to the contrary, I would be happy to see it.
If they are successful at getting rid of Trump, it will be easy for them to shut down Cruz. They have already done that in the Senate. Cruz is a light weight and his PAC will NOT support him in any effective way if Trump is gone. No way Cruz can bring in the money or votes on his own.
