A college’s attempt to crack down on the wearing of saggy pants is being attacked as racist against black people.
Henderson State University, a public college in Arkadelphia, Ark., hasn’t officially banned such pants in its dress code, but recently signs appeared in its students center warning that saggy pants, along with profanity or rude behavior, would not be tolerated.
Tonya Smith, a university spokeswoman, told Inside Higher Ed that the signs were intended to discourage disruptive behavior on campus.
“Our faculty in particular had experienced an increase in inappropriate classroom behaviors that were disturbing the learning environment,” Smith said.
Another administrator, Lewis Shepherd Jr., told local KATV News that the school is simply trying to encourage good habits.
“We do a disservice to students if we do not teach those values while they’re here,” he said.
But others see an attempt to suppress black culture.
“Its politically insensitive to certain groups. They felt like they were being targeted,” student Kristin Bell told local KATV News. Another student, Daisha Haggans, said that the school wasn’t using “the right communication” to impress on students the importance of professionalism.
In response to backlash, the school has taken the signs down, but they say they still expect students to follow the rules they laid out.
Both Haggans and Bell said the incident showed the need for Henderson to hire an official diversity officer, so that the school can avoid racially insensitive actions in the future.

After all, what else can graduates who major in saggy pants going to do?
The baggy pants style originated from criminals returning from incarceration, where their belts were systematically removed to avoid risks of suicide/murder amongst inmates.
Upon returning to society, younger gang members began emulating the appearance so as to be identified with other 'tough' criminals.
It then became 'the style'. The style then became more profane, by those trying to 'out-style' their contemporaries.
Now, if the profane is outlawed, it is labeled as racial discrimination. Which only manifests a black culture, which identifies itself with criminality in order to gain power.
And they wonder why black teen unemployment is so high.
Some people are not worth the minimum wage.
Why don’t they just brand an “S” for stupid on their foreheads?

So if I showed up at Henderson State University in a Confederate Army uniform there would be no problem? After all, I’d just be embracing my white culture...
Lest we forget it was an irritated black patriot that wrote the song "Pants on the Ground". The point of the song was to point out the practice was racist. Forbidding a racist practice is the antithesis of being racist
The version I heard was that they were available and looking for a new partner.
We passed that on to a number of kids we know, and the pants came back up. (Tells you what they think of that activity, too.) Lately, though they are saying it is 'just an internet rumor' and it is making a little bit of a comeback (these are not black kids, for the most part, either.)

Two things a cop knows he will almost always find in drooped drawers: (1) drugs or (2) a gun. They wonder why so many of them are in jail? They’re not the brightest of the gene pool. Just sayin’

Maybe they all are but not the rest of society. I think its satanic in nature because a statement like that its basically saying we are all like animals and taht’s one of the tenets of Satanism - that Man is just another animal and has no special designation or relationship with God.
The KKK has branded certain things as black only and liberals agree.
