I just saw Mike Wallace try to explain the tax code to Ben Carson! What a laugh.
Sadly, well not sadly because I AM in Maui, but anyway TV is something of a problem because the shows are over by the time I get up... except for FNS which rebroadcasts all day... but I wanted to watch Meet the Press and see if they could, at long last, manage to damage Trump.
Obama may have ruined it for Carson...at least for a few years. That’s the problem with affirmative action... so many black people over promoted or over hired and their unavoidable failures ruin it for the next guy.
I totally agree with you about Cruz. He definitely has the ability to convert people to his cause.
I’m a Texan (until lately) and I remember when Ted Cruz ran for Senate. He was a total underdog... the entire establishment including the governor was for the other guy.
I voted for the other guy. Ted won easily. I’m so glad he did, but that’s how he rolls. Don’t let anyone tell you that he doesn’t have a chance. Other candidates may pall or get tripped up but not him.
Thanks for the summary of Trump’s appearance. Hope I can catch it somewhere later.
Ben Carson - doing the rape, incest or health of the mother thing is a total bogus argument. Carson is so right. Those things happen so incredibly seldom that they should not be a factor in the argument. They’re nothing but a red herring designed to put pro-lifers off balance.
Ben Carson handled it just right.
I love what Trump says about defending America. For those who think he’s a phony, they cannot deny the man’s passionate love for this country.
I love that he supports the troops so much. I love that he wants to make the country so strong that nobody would dare mess with us.
I think he could handle the middle-east situation. He wouldn’t take any sand out of them.
They were not marked as classified, the State Department has said, and it is unclear whether its employees knew the origin of the information.
++++
I have stated my opinion many times here on FR that they can look through the 30,000 or even the 60,000 emails and they are not going to find emails marked SECRET or TOP SECRET. Hillary and Company are sloppy but they are not stupid. They deal with classified information every day. They know what a STU-III is and how classified information is handled by the government. It is highly unlikely that they, Hillary and friends, would make such an obvious mistake.
But the likelihood that highly classified information was sent to iPhones and PCs all over the world by these clown is virtually 100%. And the likelihood that our enemies have intercepted these emails is 100% as well.
How does this happen? Here’s how:
Huma reads or listens to TS material from a Secure DOD source. That source could be a phone call over a secure STU-III connection, a secure FAX, a report taken from her safe in a secure SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented information Facility) or any other secure source of classified information.
She then picks up her brand new iPhone 6+ and relates items from these sources in what she believes is an unclassified context and pushes the SEND button.
But she fails to completely hide that information from a knowledgable Russian or Chinese intelligence agent at the end of this non- secure, unencrypted email. To them the email represents a valuable intelligence intercept, TOP SECRET information.
That’s what happened here. Ten, hundreds or perhaps even thousands of times.
Here come the hit pieces on Trump..
I would never give up on Fox and Friends. It’s the best 3 hours in news. The people are all likable and unabashedly conservative.
I used to DVR it and watch it every morning ... not possible now but maybe soon.
Fox has some hosts and personalities I can’t stand but on the whole they are still better than CNN, MSNBC or any of the mainstream media.
They goofed big time with the Megyn Kelly thing but I think they’ve learned their lesson.
Social media is gonna be such a huge factor this time, more than ever before.
” Hillary knows where all the bodies are buried.”
So many bodies, so little time.
Don’t resist hyperbole on this. It is big. I can’t understand why a country as big, rich and powerful as the United States has never been able to figure out a way to erect a wall... or at least some barrier to illegal immigration.
A lot of people talk about it but nobody does it. One gets the feeling that Trump is fed up with it and that he will figure out a way to do it and then do it.
It’s an incredibly important issue for the well being of the country, even though algore thinks it’s global warming.
I think Trump is focusing on the important issues. He’s a little iffy on the tax situation, but I’ll give him that and he’ll figure it out.
It goes beyond a wall. 40% of the illegals come here legally and overstay their visas. And legal immigration is even a bigger problem. Trump addresses both in his position paper. It is a watershed moment. I hope it plays well in Peoria.

Somehow I missed your thread. And I’m up early. It was right on the mark.
You got it basically right but STU-IIIs are no longer in service and were replaced STEs many years ago.
We have a bunch of good people running right now many of them would be better than what the left has.

LOL. Actually I thought of that possibility after my post. I guess I’m dating myself since I am definitely from the STU-III generation. I should have done a little research before the post.
Thanks for the heads-up.
He is going to reach people that have never thought of voting Repub. This is going to explode heads in both Parties.
You can see it happening on FR.
Ah, what the Hell, H. Ross! I can’t just let this sit there at 299, can I?
