They were not marked as classified, the State Department has said, and it is unclear whether its employees knew the origin of the information.
++++
I have stated my opinion many times here on FR that they can look through the 30,000 or even the 60,000 emails and they are not going to find emails marked SECRET or TOP SECRET. Hillary and Company are sloppy but they are not stupid. They deal with classified information every day. They know what a STU-III is and how classified information is handled by the government. It is highly unlikely that they, Hillary and friends, would make such an obvious mistake.

But the likelihood that highly classified information was sent to iPhones and PCs all over the world by these clown is virtually 100%. And the likelihood that our enemies have intercepted these emails is 100% as well.

How does this happen? Here’s how:

Huma reads or listens to TS material from a Secure DOD source. That source could be a phone call over a secure STU-III connection, a secure FAX, a report taken from her safe in a secure SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented information Facility) or any other secure source of classified information.

She then picks up her brand new iPhone 6+ and relates items from these sources in what she believes is an unclassified context and pushes the SEND button.

But she fails to completely hide that information from a knowledgable Russian or Chinese intelligence agent at the end of this non- secure, unencrypted email. To them the email represents a valuable intelligence intercept, TOP SECRET information.

That’s what happened here. Ten, hundreds or perhaps even thousands of times.

You got it basically right but STU-IIIs are no longer in service and were replaced STEs many years ago.

Well, more than likely, she deliberately sends it to them.

The CNN Intelligence and Security Analyst and former CIA spy Robert Baer was specifically talking about her ‘handheld’ ...

“If this was on her server, and it got into her smartphone, there’s a big problem there. Seriously, if I had sent a document like this over the open Internet, I’d get fired the same day, escorted to the door, and gone for good, and probably charged with mishandling classified information.”
