Could black people in the U.S. qualify as refugees?

Suppose a client walked into my office and told me that police officers in his country had choked a man to death over a petty crime. Suppose he said police fatally shot another man in the back as he ran away. That they arrested a woman during a traffic stop and placed her in jail, where she died three days later. That a 12-year-old boy in his country was shot and killed by the police as he played in the park.

Suppose he told me that all of those victims were from the same ethnic community — a community whose members fear being harmed, tortured or killed by police or prison guards. And that this is true in cities and towns across his nation. At that point, as an immigration lawyer, I’d tell him he had a strong claim for asylum protection under U.S. law.

What if, next, he told me he was from America? Black people in the United States face such racial violence that they could qualify as refugees.

Over the past decade, I’ve represented and advised hundreds of noncitizens facing deportation. Many feared persecution in their home countries and sought protection in the United States....

Yes most would qualify.. but if restrictions are enforced as they are supposed to be a lot of Americans black and white would be denied entry to America.

And then there's the matter of belonging to incendiary groups. Would some members of Black Lives Matter be allowed in?

If Black Lives Matter truly was about correcting a problem the U.S. Department of Justice crimes rates by race show where to start.

BLM brings back memories of 1960s street mobs along with campus radical, psycho spoiled brats many of whom along with their ideological litters are now the Establishment.

I am going from exasperated to extremely angry that the stats regarding black on white violent crime are being ignored, if anyone would need in-country asylum, it would be whites, but as usual, we try to do it ourselves sans government through white flight, but the “oppressed” want Uncle Sugar (you and me) to subsidise their subsequent chase of their “oppressors”. This is lunacy, and we are living in the lunatic’s nightmare.

I know the phrase ‘on balance’ is totally foreign to the liberal/progressive, but let’s stack up the above examples against black-on-white crime and see who has the longest list.

Given that whites outnumber blacks by at least six-to-one I think it's accurate to say black-on-white crime greatly exceeds white-on-black crime. The rates listed above show a mush higher rate of violent crime for blacks than whites -- but there is no mention of interracial crime.

As for actual interracial crime. The only federal government sources that I know of are

FBI Uniform Crime Reports, Expanded Offense Data, Expanded Homicide Data Tables, Table 6 and

the National Criminal Victimization Survey (NCVS) Table 42. emphasis on SURVEY it is not police reports.

However it appears that the National Criminal Victimization Survey format changed in 2009 and Table 42 (interracial crime stats) are no longer public as they were in the 1993 - 2008 NCVS pdf files that I show at the link above.

IMO it simply means that the Obama-Holder Dept. of JustUs and the race-grievance industry do not want data made public that prove they are lying most of the time. However DoJ has a new online tool but I cannot find Table 42-type data there either.

They can offer me all the money in the world, I will never live in that $hit hole, the ghetto rats and the idiots can go, I have no use for them. In honesty I had family who went to that side of the world serving in the military and the one thing one family member said to me and I will remember it till the day I die is to thank god you are an American, and he was right. I live in a state that is 96% white and I am not oppressed and if this was such an oppressive nation why do millions of illegals, Chinese, eastern Europeans, Arab and black Africans want to come here, does not make sense right?

I live in a county in Georgia that is 96% white, 12% black and 3% other as of the 2010 Census. That 3% is Hispanic - illegals mostly.

This country will be majority Hispanic within the next generation if we do not substantively deal with the illegals in this country. That’s a fact.
