In an MMA fight, I truly believe Rousey would kick Mayweather’s butt.

“Supporting Rousey as any kind of feminist pioneer, as King was, isn’t easy when she has a history of making transphobic comments.”

I really don’t think Ronda is afraid of anything, not even the trans.

Not gonna happen. Ever. Ronda’s awesome though.

I hope she does get to fight Phallusless Fox.

I hope she beats his sissy ass into a bleeding, whimpering pile of goo, and makes him quit MMA for life.

Get ‘em Ronda!! You fine specimen of American womanhood!

He boxes, she fights MMA (most of her wins were with an arm bar). Comparisons are silly.

I think this should happen. Enough of this delusional unlimited Supergirl crap. Mayweather would knock her out cold. We have lost our minds as a culture - girls now actually believe they are no different from boys. Female physical abuse of men is high, and protected by the law. Women want to join combat units - SOCOM, no less. Mayweather knocking her out would be a good wake up call to reality.

I see no upside, no good ending for Mayweather if he agrees to this fight. If he kills her with one punch, he will be hounded by people for the rest of his life. Some will probably even want him behind bars. If he loses to her, he’ll be the laughing stock of boxing.

Ronda Rousey is a great attraction for her sport. I don’t understand why she would want to chance losing her life and I see absolutely no reason for Floyd Mayweather to want to help her lose it.

My take: in an MMA match, Rousey has a chance of winning against May weather, however, her striking technique isn’t the best, and she often leaves herself way too open sometimes for a punch. If May weather could break through her defence and land one or two good, solid blows, she would be out for the count. However, if she survived long enough to get her infamous armbar on him, she would would win. She mentions ‘no rules’ fighting. As I understand it, she also does Krav Maga, which goes way beyond the rules even of MMA. May weather would need more than his boxing skills to fight off someone trained and experienced in Krav when the rules are basically ‘survive’.

Mayweather ran away from Pacquiao for 7 years, and ran away from him again in the ring. His punching power certainly bests Ronda’s, but in a fight, landing one of those would not be easy. Ronda’s not exactly going to stand vertically and wait for it like a boxer. He is used to tactical defense. Here, he MUST go on offense, but not so much that he lets her get inside. All she has to do is stay out of his reach until she can get inside of it. Once she is there, it is over for Mayweather. He has ZERO experience in wrestling, or judo. He will try to stay vertical, Ronda will use his weight and momentum against him in any direction. Once it is on the ground, he has little chance. He can punch at her head from weird angles and directions that he isn’t used to, but he doesn’t know the holds, he doesn’t know what to defend again or why it is important that she is holding his wrist against her ankle, etc etc etc. She will get him in a kimura or an arm bar, and he will cry before it gets ripped out of its socket. I’d put money on Rousey. He will have one, maybe 2 chances to land a punch in the first 20 seconds. After that, he’s on the ground and wiggling wildly and randomly. Game over.

.
She surely has balls to say that.

There are far too many people who’ve gotten their ideas about the relative strength of men and women by watching movies and TV shows in which some woman kicks the hell out of some evil man. Maybe Rousey actually even believes what she’s saying. It’s all nonsense. Mayweather could kill her with one blow.

Rousey would have no chance against . . . against any ordinary man off the street in decent shape. The only reason I would not knock her out is that I would be afraid of hurting her or killing her, so I would just wrap her up and hold her so she doesn’t get hurt. There is no comparison in strength or power between a man and a woman.

Can't see Mayweather dong this other than for one hundred million. If he wins, well, he beat a woman. If he loses, well, he got his a** kicked by a woman!

I’ve been wondering how the Olympics committee is going to handle it when self-proclaimed “men who were born in the wrong bodies” demand their rights to compete in sports in the women’s divisions. How are they going to politically correctly tell these men that they aren’t women and can’t do so? If reality is forced to bite in the Olympics, how will they spin it so that reality is confined to the Olympics?

We won’t have true equality until young women, like young men, are forced to register for the draft in order to apply for jobs, etc. Go Team XX chromosome! /s
