Who sends or receives government classified material by email anyway unless it is encrypted? The problem using email for classified material is that email should have been called epostcard.

A better question is did Hillary send or receive material that she knew to be classified through email?

Agree. Hillary’s statement is likely true as she is quoted. I’ve never seen a document marked “classified”. Documents are marked according to their content, such as “confidential”, “secret”, “top secret” plus other markings for compartmented information or special handling.

That said, she’s really got a weak defense if that’s what she’s hiding behind.

Isn’t there another issue as well? If Hillary responded to these emails, in all likelihood, the reply contains the original email which had the classified material, so she would have been guilty of transmitting classified material over unauthorized channels.

and this was the result: unsecured emails...hacked...Ambassador Stevens travel plans, as directed by SOS Hillary...hacked... leading to the Benghazi attack. And the death of 4 Americans.

The attack on the mission in Benghazi happened that night because Stevens was known to be there, thanks to Hillary’s unprotected emails.

If she can’t distinguish material that is classified, whether it is make or not, she has no business being Secretary of State, much less POTUS. State Department is in charge of Export Controls, both arms and information. She is playing EVERYONE for a fool.

Even if she isn’t indicted and convicted, no serious person votes for her to be POTUS. The standard of proof for that is utterly divorced from “beyond a reasonable doubt” proof.

Maybe it is true Hillary Clinton did not send or receive emails with material ‘Marked’ Classified. The reports I heard said the classification markings were deleted before the emails were sent. Maybe some were labeled I am unaware of. But removing the labels shows intent to hide the classification. Either way, it is no less criminal and Hilary is being a weasel by spinning it as nothing to see.
