Donald Trump has a wide lead over his Republican presidential campaign rivals in Alabama, with the businessman and "The Apprentice" star picking up the support of 30 percent of GOP primary voters in the state, according to a poll released Thursday.
Trump's closest opponent, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, had 15 percent of support in the poll conducted by Strategy Research on behalf of WKRG.

Well, you may be right. He keeps warning other candidates not to attack Trump. Why wouldn’t he keep this advice to himself if he was wanting to win it for himself? It looks like collusion to me.

I’m sure not - they don’t have any stats for party identification, whether they’re registered or likely, or anything.
The poll was done by a local Mobile, Alabama firm: Strategy PR. Looks like they maintain voter data bases on an ongoing basis. I guess all polling firms do.
We maintain Alabama's largest voter history database with micro-targeting data from over 30 different political sources along with twenty plus years of survey results from communities across the state.
They don't provide the detail in this story, but I'd bet it was done as most scientific polls are done as they maintain their voter data bases on an ongoing basis.
I agree. I don’t know anyone who is voting for Yeb or Rubio. I predict, that as time goes on, Cruz’s numbers will rise significantly. I’ll be happy with Cruz, Trump or Carson.

I’m an Alabama resident & here’s what I think of Yeb, Rubio and the rest of the RINOS:
Give Cruz time to execute his game plan - I predict that next March will be the earliest we start getting a clear picture of where Cruz really stands in the rankings.
