“I understand that and I am not bashing Tebow, but autographing a Bible like it is a football or a book you wrote just seems a bit off to me.”
Solution: Don’t ask Tebow to sign your Bible.
I won’t ask him to do so. I still maintain that, unlike a football or a regular book, no man’s signature can add anything to the value of a Bible.
Autographing one could give people the impression (even if it is a false one), that you believe your signature adds value.
Again, not the end of the world, does not make me think less of Tebow, but not a good practice, IMHO.

Alternate solution: Offer a famous Christian the opportunity to write in your Bible, and trust the Holy Spirit to inspire him to write something edifying. And be grateful for what happens.
