I love Tebow, but shouldn’t the Author be the only one to autograph a Bible?

How about a politician taking the oath of office on a Koran?

At one time, people used their Bibles to document births, deaths and special occasions. I don’t think that was wrong, either.

You got a problem with this, newbie? My bible is autographed by my wife. She gave it to me.
Wanna bet that Tebow wrote something encouraging and included a bible verse like Phil 4:13?

When I was a kid and started Sunday school, I received a Bible that was signed by the pastor. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

I think it’s wonderful. What a blessing that must be!

I recently ran across a pocket New Testament given to me by my Sunday school teacher when I was 6 years old.
The “autograph” and memories of that teacher are precious. Not as precious as GOD’s word, but precious nonetheless.
I’m fairly sure that Tebow’s autograph was not something “above his pay grade” to write, but rather, words of encouragement and blessing from one disciple of CHRIST to another.
“But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Paul to the Thessalonians (#1), 5:11
