In the past two weeks, there has been a flurry of Republican presidential polls. We were inundated with national polls before the first presidential debate. Now every couple hours it seems like new national or state specific numbers come out, and the results of which are used to explain how candidates faired in the debates.
The over-abundance of polls wouldnt be so bad if their results were somewhat consistent. Donald Trump has been a consistent frontrunner in every Iowa and national poll that has been released since the debate, but thats where most of the similarities end. Is Jeb Bush really a second tier candidate in Iowa like the polls indicate? Does the $100 million man really now trail Carly Fiorina? Has Dr. Ben Carson surpassed Scott Walker in Iowa for the number two spot?
Frankly, I dont know what to believe. Some people question the Trump phenomenon, but Ive spent more time talking about Trump in the past two weeks than any other candidate, and Im not talking about conversations with political reporters, Im talking about the average people I encounter in my travels around the state. I cant tell you how many times people come up to be and say, so whats your opinion about Trump.
I typically turn the question around on them to get them talking. Most of the people I encountered admit that they are intrigued by Trump. Some think he could win the nomination if he just watched his mouth a little bit. Others are frustrated that hes not taking the race more seriously. Ive also been surprised that so many people have mentioned the line of questioning by Fox News in last weeks debate.

Anyone but another mealy mouthed damn Bush!!!!
He’s not even second tier. He’s a fabrication.
Kasich is just as execrable.
In my opinion he’s a third tier candidate. All he has to recommend him is the family name. If his last name wasn’t Bush, no one would know who he is, or care for that matter.
I held my nose and voted for McCain (really, Palin) and Romney but, not another RINO!

Jeb Bush polling above negative numbers is an indicator of how far this country has fallen.
Is Jeb Bush really a second tier candidate?
In a perfect world this would be his goal.
Well he said he would rather lose the primary, so...wish granted.
Ever since the “it’s his turn” candidacy of Bob Dole, my nose-holder has been forced to work overtime. I’m not doing that any longer.
Jeb will go nowhere. Too many people have caught on that the Bushes are a crime family. Their businesses have been shady and strangely unprofitable (except to themselves). Their resumes have been a matter of clawing and/or insinuating their way into one position after another, and accomplishing, at best, nothing, at worst, mayhem, destruction, and death. Two of them have lied and manipulated themselves into the White House, where they have sent thousands of young Americans to be maimed and killed, all for nothing.
Fox's screw-up is really resonating. They squandered a 24 million person opportunity over an ego trip, and it didn't go unnoticed.

Amnesty. Climate Change. Common Core. He should be running for Governor of Massachusetts.
Second Tier Candidate? Really? How was he even considered for the first tier? Must have been some money under the table for that “reward”. He has nothing more than a name and a Hispanic wife.
Name, connections from his name, and money from connections from his name.
There’s no discernibly presidential material in him personally, however.
He should be a third or fourth tier candidate. I don’t know anyone who is for him, and others that I know have said the same thing.
