I don't know about Rush's salvation. I think he places too much emphasis on politics being that answer, but that is what his show is about.
I do know that putting blind faith in Republicans turning things around has failed - completely and miserably.
David Limbaugh is saved by Christ.
In several interviews I have heard with David, he directly cited the absolutely brilliant Dr. Ravi Zacharias as being a primary contributor to his conversion.

Dr. Zacharias is the best Christian apologist I’ve ever heard. We listen to his program, “Let My People Think” each week. You’re right: “absolutely brilliant”.

If you have listened between the lines over the years you will notice that Rush is not the same Rush he was a decade ago. I believe that while he has probably always been a believer, he is becoming a Believer. He doesn’t discuss faith much on air directly, but indirectly he does if you are listening, and I believe God is working on him. God has his number.

Dr. Zacharias is incredible, and his radio program is amazing. He is such a humble man in private as well.

Just because Rush is famous doesn't mean you should call him out in public.
Pray for him but don't embarrass him.

If all “The Ignorant Fisherman” is going on is Rush’s radio show, then I believe that he needs to go visit Rush and inquire. Rush is doing a political radio show, he is NOT doing a religious revival show. I’ve listened to him for 20+ years and I will NOT make a judgement on the state of his soul and his faith.

I dont think it does. This is certainly a bizarre posting. That's too bad.
Free Republic started as a great current events and conservative political forum.
Now it's like some sort of nutty Bible school.

Methinks the ignorantfisherman has gone bonkers with worrying about Rush because “there ain’t no real evidence of his relationship with God”. One can spew the words w/o being saved and one who is saved can talk and act as if he never heard of God and Jesus.

It’s gotten a lot better since two religious nuts were recently thrown off FR.

My great grandfather at long last decided to 'give up the guns' and live as a Christian. It turns out he couldn't. 'I waited too long, and then I just couldn't get it', he said.
I'm the same way. I waited too long, haha!

Rush has acknowledged Christ before men, and Jesus himself said that if you acknowledge him before men that Christ would acknowledge you before his father in heaven.
