There is a marked difference between the Civil Rights struggles of the 50-60s and today’s tantrums.
In the former, valid dissention about rights infringement and racial bias were coalesced around true leaders who could plan and focus that dissent, MLK being the one that most commonly comes to mind.
In the latter, group think and ill-thought spontaneous capriciousness is greatly aided by social media - that ObamaPhone carried around by everyone. Further, when you get race baiting hustlers like Jessie and Al showing up in the aftermath, the true message/feeling gets lost in the melee.
My advice is to get a leader that really cares about a real problem and isn’t interested in lining his pockets. Get someone who doesn’t want to “burn the whole damned thing down.” Here’s a word of caution: That man isn’t Barack Obama.
Sheriff David Clarke is a total exception to the rule of today’s black culture. I highly respect him and never think of him as one of those animals I always write about.
He is simply a very good American citizen and patriot. He is one of us for he sets the example that others should follow.
It’s a shame that he is ostracized by his peers simply because he is a good loyal American citizen and not an animal on the streets living the criminal life.
I am sure he takes a tremendous amount of heat along with hate from the liberal left and ethnic groups. It’s a shame.
He, like Donald Trump, speaks the truth and takes the heat for doing so...but does not back down at all.
I would like to see him as the next head of the DOJ and finally, we just might restore law and order in this country.
