The moderators definitely hammed it up. They were definitely full of themselves. Fox News is a commercial enterprise. They are out for ratings.

However, it was no ambush because there were no unanswerable questions. All the participants were able to answer the questions just fine.

What did people want, a panel of Sean Hannitys asking friendly softball questions?

I wanted respect—not for trump, but for the audience. 24m people did not show up to watch a c@ckteasung bimbo. We wanted ideas. We hoped for leadership. I’m so sick of whores.

Yep, a panel of Corgies, wagging their tails and drooling on the lectern.

No hard questions allowed, especially for the Donald...

No ambush? My understanding is that they have been bragging about how the three of them worked together in writing the questions. I guess it could be argued that Kelly was the only one of the three who was smart enough to realize that what they were doing was risky, but they all participated. And, they are all adults.

Did it look to you like they wanted Trump to talk about policy issues or personal issues? What do you think they wanted the public to hear from Trump?

Afraid I had a different take on it along with millions of others.
My candidate is Cruz, but even I felt Trump was attacked.
I tuned in to hear the candidates (well, some of them. They could have left a few off, for my money, like Christie,
Kasich and Bush) talk about the serious issues we face.
I did not tune in to hear Trump questioned on his public battle with Rosie O’Donnell.
The “raise your hand” right out of the gate was another timewaster and designed to hurt a particular candidate.

I wanted questions that actually delve into how these guys would solve our massive problems. Beyond Megyn’s nonsense, that question Wallace asked Trump about his 4 bankruptcies, for example, was incredibly weak. Trump just smeared Wallace all over the floor with his reply, and aside from the fact that he did so, so easily (revealing the lack of importance of the question and the attempt at “gotcha”), Wallace just wasted time in front of a huge audience. All we really “learned” was that Trump could easily body slam a weak questioner, and we already knew that.
