CNN anchor and correspondent Jake Tapper posted on Twitter, quoting GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush, who defended Fox News Megyn Kelly amid the social media backlash over Fox News and GOP frontrunner Donald Trumps jab at Kelly following the debate.
Tappers post on Twitter read: .@JebBush: Megyn Kelly is probably the most professional, talented journalist on cable television on television, in America today

And Jebthro drops 2 more points in polling next week.
Jeb did you ask Howard Stern?
A white knight. Wusss
Jeb is desperate - while Fox and Trump are making up and moving on, he is in the corner waving his arms saying “I support Megyn” like anyone cares.
He sat back in the debate, so sure the fix was in for him and it bombed. He does not know what to do next.
After Jeb's lip lock I can't sit up straight.
Rrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiip.
Very Professional... Like office politics, the person who the boss likes is, “Very Professional”
He should say that—she’s in the Tank for him! She should be his press sec. if elected (Fat Chance—he’s the new Mittens).
Do you mean Howdy Dowdy Jeb.
Ha!
Cool. He’s sewn up the bimbo-rino vote.
Mr Smiley Face
is he on something?
Megyn Kelly is as professional as Candy Crowley.
******
I like Kelly. I often watch her show, but I don't agree with everything she says.
I think that Kelly---I understand that she was a good lawyer in her previous life---wants to be as good a journalist as she was a good lawyer.
My point is this: I think that Kelly believes that she is a big girl now who can take care of herself and can fight her own battles, thank you.
So I think she is embarrassed by all these politicians and tv commentators who have suddenly jumped in to protect her against bad boy Trump, when she has not asked for any help in handling bad boy Trump.
I believe that she wishes that people would just leave her alone so that she can do her journalist job as best she can, even if she makes mistakes along the way.
I would like to think that she hopes that good-intentioned people would stop trying to protect her at every turn as if she were a weak schoolgirl who needed someone to protect her from the big bad wolf as she walked home from school.
So, Kelly, I like your show, but if you are going to ask someone like Trump some rough questions, and you want to be a good journalist, then you should be ready to receive rough replies in return.
Professional? Look how she dresses sometimes. Is she a reporter for Playboy or Fox News?
LOL to post 28. That’s it! Eddie Haskell.
