Trump’s haters need to man up and deal
New York Post ^ | August 9, 2015 | Andrea Peyser

When judging Trump, I would suggest we all man up. Look at his record of hiring, and firing, females. I’ve not heard of him called out for underpaying, overworking, failing to promote or laying hands on women in his employ.

In her quest to play “gotcha” with Trump, Kelly hit him with having told Brande Roderick, a former Playboy Playmate and contestant on his show “Celebrity Apprentice,” that it would be “a pretty picture to see her on her knees.”

“Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?” Kelly asked. Broderick — who, like Trump, said she didn’t remember the remark — sounded like an adult on MSNBC. “I don’t condone men being derogatory, but I think he’s just on television. He’s trying to be funny. He didn’t mean anything horrible by it.”

Love him or loathe him, Donald Trump is shaking up the political landscape with his brand of straight talk, unfiltered by political correctness or a politician’s need to take an opinion poll before taking a position. It’s contagious.

At Thursday’s debate, Ted Cruz called President Obama’s deal with Iran a “disaster” — Trump’s word when bashing policies of “stupid” politicians. Mike Huckabee also uttered the word, referring to plans to fund sex-change operations for service members. Don’t worry about women. We can take anything Trump dishes out.

How about the standards of tradition?

Forty years ago society had a fairly uniform
idea of what rude, crude, and boorish behavior
looked and sounded like and it was frowned
upon in most social situations. At some point, maybe
in the past twenty years, somebody came up with the
concept of political correctness which was designed
to spare somebody some hurt feelings or more
importantly to stifle conversation and debate.

Political correctness is a generally a bad thing
and so is rude, crude, and boorish behavior.
I hope you can agree with that.

Which one of the remaining GOP candidates do you support?

I’m just asking.

None of them, with the possible exception of Cruz and Carson, are really in it to win it. They’re just placeholders to siphon off and divide ‘other than Jeb’ votes in the primaries to ensure a Jeb win.

I’d like to see Cruz win, personally.

But I suspect, if he ever presents a serious threat to yeb, the pubbie party will wondrously miraculously spontaneously discover ‘eligibility’ as an issue.

And the same media that are currently involved in grinding Trump to a stump will then focus on Cruz and eligibility.

You didn’t answer the question, liberal.

Why do you defend such treatment of a conservative Christian lady?

How do you justify it? What’s your reasoning?

Let’s hear it.

Nah, nothing will be forthcoming. You know you can’t defend it. But you operate on base, low emotion-—as seen by your yelling, your “LMFAO” and “STFU” and your clusters of exclamation points. You’re about as out of control as your cult figure, Trump.

And that is the reason, isn’t it, that you refuse to address the sleazebag’s treatment of Michelle Malkin. Your tin god did it, so it’s okay. That’s the reasoning of a 2008 Obamabot.

You just can’t restrain yourself. You foam at the mouth so much that you have to answer one post with two or three of your own.

So wipe your chin and yap on. You’re truly beneath contempt.

Megyn Kelly is a media whore. She wanted ratings for personal gain and exposure. If we want good debates, let the guy from the NH do them.

Cruz.

They can bring up eligibility all they want. It’s a non-issue.

And you’re right, they’ll go after Ted with everything they have. The thing is, he knows how to handle them...he even welcomes the fight. And he outguns all of them intellectually. Personally I can’t wait to see it.

Cruz won’t take everything as a personal insult and whine and cry about it for days.

Still LMFAO @ a FReak calling me a liberal. Thank you again.

I have to admit, I haven’t seen anyone here lately hate as mindlessly well as you have, so please keep the personal attacks coming.

You obama yourself far better than I ever can.

Oddly enough that behavior Trump exhibits was the expected way to deal with the level of flack he’s getting which would have been seen as the behavior of, as was said back then, “jackasses”. Men were not polite back then, that was just the stuff you got when women and children were present.

In the recent case with Fox, a women decided she wanted to tussle like a man, and got exactly what she gave.

Bringing up women’s biological differences from males seems as mean-spirited as talking about the state of Donald Trump’s hairdo. There, I put it out there.

Again.

But you won’t hear me called a sexist pig waging a War on Men. Because making fun of The Donald on a superficial level is not just de rigueur in this Republican primary season. For a columnist, it represents a virtually required sexist double-standard.

The money quote... 'required sexist double standard..." Seems we have a journalist who 'gets it'...

It is hard to man up when someone is making schoolyard comments to you.

Who actually thinks obviously smart, successful people are dummies? I will admit Rosie O is a pig, but not in a public venue.

There are countless ways to put down nasty people without lowering yourself to their emotional level. I would think Trump can afford the best “one liner” writers in the business. He can also afford to thoroughly investigate those with whom he will be giving interviews & encountering on the campaign trail.

I expected from Trump a smart, savvy, take no prisoners campaign, skewering the politicians on the stage for their poor records & worthless promises. There is plenty to skewer.

Instead, I’m seeing juvenile insults that bounce off even thin skin. Such insults wont scare Putin, Iran, or the Chinese, just give them a reason to hate us more.

I still support Trump, as I still believe he can help end the cronyism & corruption in the Federal government, but he’s gonna need to drop the petty personal insults & start attacking our corrupt political system & all those who support it.

The uniparty owns the judiciary.

Ask yourself how fast they’ll find some pro abort female with ‘standing’ to challenge his eligibility.

Donald is himself, no refuting that.

I think the uniparty knows they can pull the eligibility plug on cruz. It’s why they’ve allowed him to run. Whether he knows this or not is the question.

And it matters not whether you or I agree with his being eligible. Once a black robed tyrant rules on it...how many black robed tyrants do you think the uniparty has in their pocket?

Do you think the uniparty that’s been scripting our national politics for several generations now has left this one little thing to chance?

“Men were not polite back then.....”

That is not quite 100% true. While my friends and
I could be crude and rude while drinking in the
bars, working outside, or dressing in the locker room
we also utilized filters which helped us to avoid
SOME fights. In those days if you bumped a stranger
in a bar you had better be ready with an apology or
your fists.

Since you invoked Trump after I had started with
“Trump aside” I will address him. Trump is the one
running for POTUS not the mediatards. I am a staunch
advocate of conservatives calling out media people who
are biased and unfair. When Trump calls out a reporter
he would be helping the conservative cause if he would
stick to criticizing the bias of the questions and
the propensity of the reporter to treat conservatives
differently. To personally insult the journalist gives
the MSM an excuse to avoid discussing the real issues.
Furthermore, a POTUS candidate cannot lead voters to
believe he will bring that kind of behavior into the
WH.

I happen to believe that Trump has done some good
by attempting to blow-up PC. He could do better
if he would modify his shtick.

Malkin works for Salem Media.

I no longer trust her because of this.

But she’s a big girl. If she’s got a twitter account she sould be prepared for incoming. I suspect she’s smart enough to cleverly turn any attacks against her right around and give them back. ‘Dummy’ isn’t one of the most difficult, or insulting, verbal weapons of war to handle.

Well, I’ll tell you what, we can disagree on whether any challenge to Cruz’s eligibility will happen and/or succeed.

But you’re right—Trump is himself, which means a Democrat. And there is no way on earth any Dem will ever get my support.

You don’t trust Michelle Malkin but you trust a bloviator with a history of lying who told “Morning Joe” two weeks ago that he is a Democrat.

Look, you can join in trying to excuse and justify that sleazebag’s treatment of her, but in doing so you only shame yourself.

I note you only address the “dummy” comment, and not the rest...”born stupid” or the implication of a shameful secret in her past, or his tacit approval of his fangirls calling her an Asian prostitute.

I suggest you might want to think about the behavior conservatives are forced to condone when they decide to throw their support behind Democrats.

Will you vote for Jeb when he, inevitably, wins the GOP primary?

Just a question.

Because that is an inevitability. It’s been planned and scripted for a decade at least. They’ve got trillions in plunder on the table with the election cycles in this country. Do you think they’ll actually allow the voters to really decide?

I can tell you, personally, what will happen if Cruz does miraculously win the primary. The RNC will turn tail and refuse to support or endorse him.

http://www.nytimes.com/2001/11/04/nyregion/on-politics-on-tuesday-difrancesco-may-be-the-real-winner.html

Bret Schundler won the gop primary for NJ Gov fair and square. And the pubbies, en masse nearly, either refused to endorse and support him or actively endorsed and supported the dim. Know why? Because the pubbies in NJ were up to just as much corruption and underhanded dealings as the dims were. And Shundler, the outsider, might uncover that. The pubbies knew the dims would cover for them.

Get ready for that should cruz (or heaven forbid) or trump win.

And Jeb is pure dem. I can’t find a single issue he disagrees with Hillary. And a single think Obama has done that he doesn’t implicitly agree with either.

Our choices will be Hillary or Jeb.

I don’t think trump is a spoiler for anyone at this point although I did early on.

I just don’t think he, or his family, has the intestinal fortitude to withstand what the uniparty has in store for him.

Michelle works for Salem Media.

They are very uniparty. She’s allowed a little latitude for appearances sake I’m sure. But when it counts she toes the line.

I don’t trust donald. I don’t particularly care for him. I’m not sure where you read that.

I’m amazed at people who think critizing the uniparty, or their minions, is implicity endorsement of donald.

But if Michelle can’t handle twitter and ‘incoming arty’ from inarticulate billionaires and their supporters, she needs to find another job.

I doubt Donald will be around come primary season for real.

Even he will be gone.

And we will be left with...yeb...

And I’m sure, absolutely sure, that yeb will be much better than donald would be.

Do read the link I posted though. To get an inkling of the treatment Cruz will get if he starts polling high enough numbers to really challenge yeb come primary season.
