Carly Fiorina on Donald Trump: 'Women understood that comment'
CNN ^ | August 9, 2015 | Eric Bradner

Posted on 08/09/2015 9:42:33 AM PDT by maggief

(CNN)Carly Fiorina said Donald Trump's comments about Megyn Kelly "were completely inappropriate and offensive" and were clearly meant to imply the Fox News host's tough questions were a result of menstruation.

"Women understood that comment. And yes, it is offensive," Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard executive, said in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper aired Sunday on "State of the Union."

(snip)

"I started out as a secretary. And as I made my way up in the business world, a male-dominated business world, I've had lots of men imply that, um -- I was unfit for decision-making because maybe I was having my period. So I'll say it, OK?" Fiorina said.

Carly is the one who made a women’s biology the center of discussion in her campaign.

Yes, she is entitled to her opinion and we are entitled to question her willingness to buy into and use the democrat’s “war on women” to her advantage.

30,000 Americans that used to work at HP also have no use for her. Due to her incompetence they lost their job. Most experts in high tech businesses call her the worst CEO of all time. For her “making the tough decisions” she was fired!

“Go home Carly”.

And take your “conservative” friends with you.

Well .. I didn’t like the way he phrased it.

It’s an old saying, “he had blood in his eye” .. meaning he had a mean, or threatening look.

But the rest of the comment was weird .. and I really wasn’t sure what he was saying or intimating .. but it’s been a well-known fact (during my generation), to assume when a girl/woman is in a grumpy mood, then she’s having her period.

If that was what he meant .. then I’m not sure it should have even been said .. but that’s Trump .. and he just says what he believes .. and you’re not going to change him any day soon.

I don’t agree with Carly .. because I don’t think most women really “understood” exactly what Trump was saying. It was the left who tried to make a connection to suit them.

Has Carly commented on Megyn’s gutter talk with Howard Stern? Once MK did that, all bets were off when it comes to keeping it classy around her; she lowered her own bar.

“So many people have said that they hated working for Fiorina”

Being in an un-PC mood, I have to say that, generally, women make terrible bosses, especially over females. Usually their feelings and petty jealousies trump (no pun) professionalism when the rubber hits the road. JMHO FWIW.

I don’t think he had any intent to bring up anything untoward in a suggestive manner. Suggestive isn’t his style. Direct is. If he meant to say something foul, no one would wonder for one moment what he was trying to say.

And what Kelly said, and how she said it, was also pretty direct and aggressive, not passive-aggressive, a different behavior, but more the norm if one is going to refer to how periods affect behavior.
