Cruz is being frozen out. The lame stream media agenda is very clear now.

I actually had this on my headline:

Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread 9 August 2015--Trump on all EXCEPT Fox!

But I could not find Trump's name on the This Week line up so took it off.

I thought Cruz did a GREAT job in the debate.

In a weird way, Trump helped him, because I believe MANY people tuned in to see what Trump would have to say (and they were not disappointed—I hope they also saw how WallAss and Megyn went after him tooth and nail) and they got to hear Ted Cruz for perhaps the first time and he was good.

Dr. Carson aloes impressed me with his answers. They were measured and very good.

Kase-itch was a REAL RINO—blech—No want! His father was a mailman, dontcha know? Kinda like John F’n Kerry was in Vietnam...

JEB was the “Superman” of Floriduh. Did EVERYTHING. < / s > Not impressed, sorry. I don’t think many were either. He stutters and gets flustered. Must be a Bush thing. NOTE: I am a public speaker and do the same thing, so he has some of my sympathy/empathy here...

Crisp Crispy is a jackboot licker, no other way to say it. I would ask if he wants fries with those extra large jackboots, but we all know the answer—YES! FRIES WITH EVERYTHING!!!

Rand Paul beat Crispy up on the Bill of Rights, but he looked too pissed off—and a little bit kooky—throughout the night.

Huckleberry had some funny lines, but I’m not ready to vote for the Comedian of the United States, we already have a clown in the White House, thanks.

Some of Walker’s answers were also a little stuttered and flustered. I wasn’t overly impressed OR disappointed. He was “fair to midlin’”, as we say down Souf.

Rubio’s responses I thought were good. I just think as one of the youngest, he’s not ready yet, and has to do more penance for being in that Gang of Eight. AND, in his favor, he still got a lot less traffic tickets in 20 years than me.

Your suggestions and strategies are right on the money.

Go Donald! (not that he is my main choice, yet, but he is certainly stirring up the debate, forcing the GOPe and media to scurry, and energizing great dialogue).

Trump should stay very far away from Jake Tapper on CNN. Tapper is only looking for something to use against Trump. Trump also needs to stop taking about blowhard Megyn Kelly and Fox News. Time to end that discussion and move on and that’s exactly what he needs to tell anyone today when they immediately start asking him about it. Same goes for Porky Pig Erickson, who most Americans never heard of till yesterday. Don’t mention this nobody.

It will be interesting to see if FOX ratings will drop.

Yeah, Megyn looks pretty hot in that picture.

Remember how we told the Dixie Chicks to shutup and sing?

Well Megyn should shut up and...

Opps, did I say that out loud???!!!

VERY good advice.

I can’t see him taking it, though.

Wish it was otherwise.

IF he does, then we’ve got something in him, but I’m afraid there’s way to much bulldog in him, and he can’t let go easily.

I pretty much agree with your assessment, including the Rand Paul attitude mixed with Christy....neither of those guys came up good.

Megyn Kelly wants to be the new Cheryl Atkinson but she don’t have what it takes. She tried to look tough and specific but she only came off looking silly. Saying Trump called women sluts and other names in his lifetime...WELL WHAT MAN HAS NOT?

So okay maybe said generic male wasn’t running for President but come on....this nonsense of using something said in a person’s lifetime then everybody gasps and holds shocked hands to their face.....it gets old people, real old.

Ben Carson, considering the overall picture, would be my pick, were I a person from outer space just looking them all over, their demeanor, vocabulary, sense of intelligence and humor....yup....Ben Carson.

Jeb Bush....does anybody remember a damn thing he said during that debate?

Yeah Huckabee did okay and they all responded very well to the Planned Parenthood abomination, they get my respect for that.

As for Fox and what looked to be a hijacking of the debate from Donald Trump....I just think Fox was trying to show the world how fair they are, picking on a former contributor like The Donald.

To me they looked stupid and Megyn Kelly....the turd....she didn’t impress anyone.

Right. Carly did outshine the lower tier dwarfs. I hope she replaces Crispy from here on out. His only obvious role is to attack The Donald.

If it weren’t for the huge warchest Jeb is supposedly amassing I would not see how he could possibly have a chance. He is such a dud. Worse than Romney, maybe even Dole?

You’re right and today he’ll make lightweight Erick Erickson known nationwide. An internet blogger who’s about as conservative as my St. Bernard when she’s hungry.

-- Trump should stay very far away from Jake Tapper on CNN. Tapper is only looking for something to use against Trump. --

I think that dynamic is in play with everybody in the press. They are competitive (with each other), and the measure of success is ratings and air time. In other words, the news is always "about them."

-- Trump also needs to stop taking about blowhard Megyn Kelly and Fox News. --

The press will bring it up. Just like that weasel Frank Luntz badgering Trump about McCain being a "war hero." Trump has to respond, but your advice is right on the money. Something like "that's old news," blast the political correctness and press bias that the incidents represent, and then list a few issues that the interviewer might ask him about.

I dunno. His early responses were that PC is a sign of weakness, and there are real issues that ought to be the subject of frank discussion. I haven't studied all the exchanges, but I'll wager that the choice of subject has not been in Trump's hands, rather, the choice of subject is in the interviewer's hands.
