The price of cheap imports doesn't reflect the cost of supporting unemployed Americans. The price of cheap imports doesn't reflect the opportunity cost of having those Americans working, paying taxes, and spending into the American economy. The price of cheap imports doesn't even reflect the taxes domestic producers have to pay. We have tariffs so low there is actually a tax incentive for American companies to off-shore.
you've got government health care now. And Trump wants to repeal it and replace it. Trump has stated that he has never supported socialized medicine. He want's health care that is affordable. As well as some care provided for those that can't afford it. And really we've had that for a long time, whether it was the state run free health clinics or Medicaid or Obamacare supplements.
