EX/IM is crony corporate welfare at it’s worst. It’s protectionist handouts that had their place at one time and have long since run their course. It’s an easy way to buy and sell politicians. I remain flabbergasted that any true conservative can support it.

You were responding to an avowed protectionist. Of course he thinks the EX/IM bank is great. For populist protectionists, conservatism takes a back seat to leftist pro union trade policies.
