Parents, gender equality advocates welcome news as significant step
(CNN) —Attention Target shoppers: Say goodbye to "girls' building sets" and "boys' bedding."
The big box retailer announced Friday that it will start phasing out gender-based signage in some departments. The shift comes in response to customer feedback that distinguishing between products for girls and boys is unnecessary and maybe even harmful.
Parents and gender equality advocates welcomed the news as a significant step with potential to inspire other retailers.
"This change is a step towards removing gender limitations in childhood, but when one of the world's largest retailers does this, the ripple effect will be significant," author Melissa Atkins Wardy said in her blog, Pigtail Pals & Ballcap Buddies, which promotes gender-neutral toys, apparel and other products for children.

I wish we had the old main-street where the stores were smaller and owned by real people and you knew exactly what kind of store had your item.

If we engaged in activism in the manner of the left, we would make up signs that said such things, and sneak them into the store and place them in the appropriate places.
Such signs would generate a backlash among people who would be offended by such a position, meaning most normal people.
Man: “Pardon me ma’am - where can I find the women’s feminine hygiene department? My wife asked me to pick up tampons for her.”
Clerk: “We don’t use trigger-words words that enforce negative stereotypes in this store.”
Man: “That’s all very nice, but I just need to find the tampons.”
Clerk: “Your words are creating a toxic environment!”
Man (exasperated): “OK, how about feminine hygiene - is that OK to say?”
Clerk: “If you don’t stop I’ll be forced to call a manager!”
Man: “Is the manager a man?”
So what do these gender neutral people call their offspring when they are born? God created them MALE and FEMALE. They once again shake their fists in His face.

I stopped shopping at Target when they went pro homo marriage. So big surprise. They like other liberals are so delusional they no longer can tell the difference between boys and girls.
Next they will introduce padded walls that customers can bang their heads against.
I hate politically correct fags. Target needs to wise up and spend more time making sure that their customers’ personal information isn’t being stolen and stop worrying about signs that might offend the sexual deviants.
