Obama wishes to convince the public that the deal’s opponents are either partisan extremists or traitors who care about Israel more than they care about America.
But neither claim is true.
The main reason Americans should oppose the deal is that it endangers America. And as a consequence, Americans who oppose the deal are neither partisans nor turncoats.
They are patriots.
