If a communitys respected religious leaders preach, over and over again, that gay people deserve to be killed, isnt it inevitable that someone will try to kill them?

thank you for the clarification.
The Torah teaches that the civil magistrate should bring the trail and sentence. For an individual to kill a homosexual without the proper authority is still murder.
trail = trial
We see the consequences now in America of excessive ‘tolerance’. What perverts want is not just to be left alone, they want to be predators with impunity.
What a load of horsesh*t
Talmud (Chullin 92a): ‘Rav Yehuda Says: This verse (Zacharia 11:12) refers to the thirty righteous persons among the nations of the world, whose merit sustains the nations of the world.’
‘Ulla said: This verse refers to the thirty commandments which the Noachites have accepted. But they keep only three of them. One, they do not draw up marriage contracts for homosexuals.[Same Sex Marriage] Two, they do not merchandize (human) flesh in the marketplace.[Planned Parenthood] Three, they do have respect for the Torah (and for Torah scholars).[Democrat National Convention]’
America has forfeited the right to be a nation.
at least the homosexual only got stabbed..
the ultras-orthodox LORD God Almighty rained fire and brimstone down on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and killed hundreds of homosexuals..
You can read about it in the archives of the newspaper back then, “Genesis” ..
No liberals survived to complain but a guy named Moses managed to report the incident..
Must have heard it from the ONE while on the mountain.
“Ten years later, none of this has changed.”
duh.
Where are all the armchair political theologians who will claim these Jews are not Jewish?
Thanks, jjotto!
Murder is wrong. Homosexuality is wrong. Murdering a homosexual is wrong. The truth is the truth whether some murder is an idiot or not.
She was a 16-year old girl and she died of her wounds.
She was 16. She wasn't homosexual. She was marching in the parade to support her friends.
This does raise an interesting point, and one the Orthodox should consider in the future. There are very serious demands placed on the faithful for a multitude of things that are no longer “issues” in the world, but could be again.
The Jews have long had very strong inhibitions about the death penalty, *as an official act*. Far more likely are individual events of assassination.
Perhaps this stabbing event could be put in that category.
