LANSING, MI — Michigan House Speaker Kevin Cotter is ordering an investigation into allegations that freshman state Reps. Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat used their offices and staff in an apparent attempt to cover up a personal relationship.
The Detroit News on Friday published raw and transcribed audio recorded by former House aide Ben Graham, who had worked for Courser until he was fired in July, when Gamrat also parted ways with a top aide.
Courser, R-Lapeer, reportedly told Graham to send a fake and salacious email about himself to Republican operatives, alleging that the lawmaker had been caught having sex with a male prostitute behind a Lansing nightclub.
The email was an intentionally outlandish "smear campaign" designed to blunt any claims about a relationship between him and Gamrat, Courser said on one recording, making them seem "tame by comparison."

I guess the Gov was right about him at the Convention. Wow.
To think you can hide that from the media spotlight in the Capitol.....sheesh.

Well, the choice for us was Courser...or a hispanic, LaRaza open-borders type, feminazi, socialist dem.
As usual...some choice.
...it's always the cover-up.
But trying to create this kind of ruse(assuming it was, who knows now)....really stupid beyond belief...and look for the media(news/TMZ)to make it a national story(Christian/Tea Party...lying/conniving hypocrite whores!...mmmm!...juicy!).
Needless to say, he(and she)are toast politically...not because of the affair, but because of the moronic way they tried to cover it up.

You see that glow flashing in the corner of your eye? That's your career dissipation light. It just went into high gear.
If I had to vote between this clown or a dem, I'll hold my nose like I do for some RINO's (although never Joe Schwarz). At least Todd will vote correctly most of the time even though he's a personal embarassment.
Both State Rep. Todd Courser and Rep. Cindy Gamrat should resign before sundown, and not even dare to take another dollar from the State treasury in the form of any paycheck or compensation. They should also be personally liable for any whistle blower lawsuits brought on by the people they fired. That is if they had any class that is what they should do.
Their actions simply make it that much harder to advance conservative reforms, and their actions are totally despicable.
CNN spent time on this yesterday, with a the female anchor smirking throughout.
