So, to you, when attacked, acquiesce and cower and don’t strike back because if you do that makes you an “ass”??

Why did you just make that up? I never said anything like that and Trump didn't strike back - he whined and played a victim card. So did his pathetic supporters.

With eGOP voters like you no wonder they are a cowardly and inept bunch.

Trump is a statist and his supporters are goofy cult of personality types that often bring us people like Obama.

When you make a generalized statement like that it's easy to say you are DEAD wrong.

Trump is not a statist, but a mercantilist. However, he knows that debt cannot be increased forever without disaster; neither can trade deficits.

And he knows that a nation which cannot defend its border from infiltration, or from conventional attack, let alone nukes, is not a good place to continue making money.

He started out a multimillionaire, true; but he didn't become a spoiled drunk trust fund kid like Ted Kennedy; he didn't think himself bigger than God like so many Silicon Valley and Tech whiz kid types.

He is obviously not used to making cause with the Christian right; the very way he spoke of Christians getting beheaded in the Middle East differs from how Dr. Carson would have said it; but if he will follow through on his promises of aligning with us (as opposed to Yertle the Turtle McConnell and weepy Boner), if he will attack Obama and Hillary rather than saying *at a campaign rally* "you have nothing to fear of this man as President" as McCain did, ...it's a good start.

Or, he might be an opportunistic lying weasel. But Carson and Walker are coming across as too soft-spoken to win; Jindal has the chops but looks small, and is an openly outspoken Christian which the left will mercilessly attack him for.

So far, by their rhetoric / electability, it looks like Cruz, Trump, or Fiorina, with Jeb and Walker the 2nd tier.

It's a shame only 2 of the 5 are genuine conservatives.
