I had the great fortune of seeing the Newsboys in Roseville, CA several years back. They’re an amazing band. He Reigns was the second song they played.
That is a great song. It makes me tear up.
Yeah, I think Peter wrote that. He’s no longer with the band.
We go back to 1989-90 or so when we first saw them live at AtlantaFest on a brutally hot afternoon as a "secondary" band. They were just full of raw energy and power both in their music and in their gospel message. Still like their music (and message!) 25 years later...

Ted Cruz Ping! For you Newsboys fans that may not know,,, Peter Furler is now part of Steve Taylor’s new band “Steve Taylor and The Perfect Foil”. Steve wrote/co-wrote and produced many of the Newsboys hit albums. Their new album “Goliath” is about as good as it gets in my opinion.

Shine was my favourite song for a while, it really said how to live as a Christian.
I have listened to them since I was real young too, but haven’t heard as much of their newer stuff.
I hope Cruz can unite Christian conservatives and the original constitution can be restored.
If that’s not the case, things will get even uglier soon.
