Having the votes to replace him with anyone who is any better is something else again.

He hasn’t done anything, except facilitate “I”bama every step of the way. Seriously, who could be worse?

Need a new thread...who is best to replace Bonehead? Trey Gowdy? Meadows? Certainly no Bonehead RINO trader.

Replacing him with a person who is not testosterone deficient would be a step in the right direction.IMNSHO

REMEMBER TO ORGANIZE AND VOTE IN PRIMARIES!!!!!

That is where we have 10 times more power.

Everyone here should be looking for primary opponents to the eGOP RIGHT NOW

And get out and VOTE - only 10% of voters vote in primaries- just you and two or three of your friends each would win every district

Boehner is too useful to socialist agenda for that to be allowed to happen. I predict he squeaks by.

Boehner would then not have to worry about the appearance of golfing with Obama. But then he might just find out that Obama doesn't want to play golf with him anymore, for some reason.

Anyone will be better because that person will be a replacement speaker, and a replacement speaker will know that he or she can be replaced.

Boner never thought that he could be replaced.

Last night at Congressman Scott Tipton's townhall meeting in Grand Junction, he got repeated demands from the audience for Boehner to be removed from his position.

I heard a report that said just the opposite, that Meadows could have called for a prompt vote (it would be required within two working days of the House, something like that) but he knew he didn't have the votes and so brought it up as a "resolution" for future consideration.

In fact I just googled him and found these quotes:

Meadows said Tuesday that he was trying to force a "family conversation" among Republicans on the course of congressional leadership after a series of conflicts between Boehner's leadership team and a cadre of a few dozen conservatives.

"It's really more about trying to have a conversation on making this place work, where everybody's voice matters, where there's not a punitive culture," (Meadows) said. "Hopefully, we'll have some discussion about that in the days and weeks to come.

"What I'm hopeful for is this provides perhaps the impetus to have a discussion, a family discussion, where we can start talking about how we can make sure that every voice, every vote matters, and really about representing the American people," he said. "Ultimately what I want to is to make sure everyone is treated fairly."

Quotes came from Washington Post so.... But it all sounds like just more horseshirt to me.

I think Congressmen that grandstand should be tazed crotch level everytime they fail to do what they say they are going to do. I get so tired of the lies and grandstanding for donations and votes.

In 2012, the insane GOP sought out the ONE person who
created ObamaCARE (RomneyCARE) to go against ObamaCARE.

Today, the insane GOP uses the ONE person as leader
who actually licks Obama a$$ every chance that he can
to golf with him, to make money off of ObamaCARE,
and to keep HIS family, and HIS Staff, EXEMPT.

The problem with this process is that if Boehner is removed, they will get the “next” in line, not the “best” in line.

All civil service, with the exception of the military (in some cases), is infected with the notion that the longer you are employed, the better you get. Colloquially referred to as the Peter Principle. It just isn’t so. Some are born to lead, some to follow and some to be eaten.

I have never seen a party hate their base so much. I think the base is done with the R's. we did do the one thing they asked of us, voted them in with big majorities, then what happened? Recently learned tha tone of the R's Presidential candidates signed a letter to the IRS to investigate the "teaparty" activities. That would be J. McCain.

Trump has overwhelming support because he is speaking truth about the R's, still they don't seem to get it, they just keep dissing the base and cater to Chamber of Commerece and illegal's. How are illegals going to help them? Can they vote yet?

When the actual voting starts, how many will have their spines turn to jelly?

For fear that the measure might fail, those supporting it would face retaliation from the leadership.

The opposition couldn’t garner enough votes in January 2013 nor in January 2015.
