I wasted my breath and called both Maryland senators today. Mikulski’s took my commit and hung up. Cardin’s aide was more pleasant and told me that calls are strongly in favor of defunding. Of course he’ll vote no.

Mikulski’s staff has always been extremely rude to me every time. Even in person. Memorably rude. My friend was an official photographer for some event she was at and said she’s the nastiest woman he’d ever met.

Jeff Sessions is actually a really nice guy himself. A true Southern gentleman that doesn’t put on airs. We know some of his kin. They say he shows up at family affairs just like everyone else. I’ve never met anyone who had contact with him that didn’t say the same. Probably why he doesn’t have any opposition in elections.
