In this part we tackle the subject that is rife with abuse of the truth. Please note that while we’re trying to stay within the ‘Top Ten Format’ Gun grabber lies are stock and trade with national Socialist Left, so this may be more that 3 –4 lies. In fact, one could easily write up a top ten gun grabber lies, but that is for another time. Parts I & II explored the wonderful world of Leftist LIES in a general sense. In part I we introduced the subject and listed out many of the Leftist LIES that didn’t make the list. In part II we discussed some of the more general Lies of the national Socialist Left.
One of the most amusing things you can do in dealing with those on the national Socialist Left when you’re on this subject matter is to ask them if they have the right to defend themselves ( or their family, etc.) Trust me, they won’t be able to give you a straight answer on this question. They will try to dodge OR say yes and deny you the means of this self-defense, but a direct response will not be forthcoming.
This is actually a fine litmus test between Conservatives and Leftists – Conservative will answer with an empathic YES and give you a ‘why did you ask such a silly question look’. Gun grabbers from the national Socialist LEFT won’t even answer you at first.
It breaks down to the basic way that Conservatives and Leftists look at the world and the role of government. Believers of individual rights know that self defense is the cornerstone of those rights.
Leftists believe in collective rights with your value worth only what you can bring to the collective.
Thus you have no individual value and no right to it and by extension no right to defend your value.
But they can’t say that out loud, only amongst the rarified air of the faculty lounge or other leftist watering hole. For once you travel the collective rights path it is easy to get to a point where they can’t find the reason for ‘valueless’ individuals to be supported by the collective. And you start talking death panels and re-education .. er.. ‘Fun’ camps for such individuals to be ‘concentrated’ and eventually eliminated. [Such grandiose plans are difficult to initiated if said individuals can shoot back]

Simply put, those who don’t have guns or certain kinds of guns have the misguided idea that by merely sacrificing someone else’s commonsense Constitutional civil rights they can be rendered safer. ( And it puts a spotlight on the’s predilection of screwing over others for their selfish needs, but that’s for another time)
But enough background – let’s get down to (just some) of the gun grabber’s favorite LIES:
6. Intergalactic Background Checks will prevent ‘gun violence’. This of course is the fallacy that by depriving honest people of their commonsense civil rights you will somehow stop criminals from obtaining guns – much like banning cars will stop drunk driving.
And once again this illustrates the national Socialist LEFT penchant of punishing the honest and rewarding the guilty.
The bottom line with Intergalactic Background Checks is that the government is asserting more control over it’s own constraints. For what is a ‘Background Check’ but you’re needing to go to the government hat in hand to ask them please, pretty please may I have the means to resist your tyranny? For now they may say yes but soon enough the registration lists generated by Intergalactic Background Checks will soon be used to take away that means (firearms). This is exemplified by they’re due process free - use of social security list to grab guns.
Make no mistake Intergalactic Background Checks beget registration (they cannot work without them) and registration leads to confiscation.
This is why the national Socialist LEFT obsesses about this wet dream of theirs.
5. No one is talking about confiscating guns. Lie #6 lead us directly into this infamous lie. This is only true if you ignore all the times the gun grabbers talk about confiscation. They had certain amount of diarrhea of the month after Sandy Hook and they though they really had us then. Yes, back in those heading days Obama had just stolen.. oops ‘won’ a second term and national Socialism was seeming on the ascension. So many of their talking heads spewed forth with talk of Confiscation:

These days they realize they spoke too soon and they are real quiet about their ultimate intentions.
4. Defensive gun uses ‘don’t happen’ – another whopper for the ages – this highlights national Socialist LEFT use of the technique of lying to you face and their use of denial. Denial is one of their favorite last ditch defenses when the incontrovertible facts are right in front of them. To which you call them out and ask them directly are you denying these facts – to which they will not answer and instead will have temper tantrum and call you names much like a 4 year old.
The fact is DGU’s happen all the time – they go against the socialist media narrative of ‘Guns are bad’ and ‘more guns equals more death’ and other such simplistic BS.
And of course we can’t forget the gun gabber’s favorite tactic in calling for more gun control – incessantly spewing the BS of ‘Lax gun laws’ or even ‘no gun laws’ (this goes back to their denial technique).
The implication is always that a certain shooting or crime was caused by ‘loopholes’ or lack of laws on the transfer of guns..
You will see this Lie swing into action at the news of mass shooting in a ‘gun free’ zone. Almost immediately and before the facts are known gun grabbers from the national Socialist LEFT will seek out the news cameras and solemnly talk about ‘easy access to guns’ or ‘lax gun laws’ you will even see them spew outright LIES like it’s easier to get a gun than it is to obtain food.
If one endeavors to examine the lies and falsehoods on the national socialist left, you will discover that they are a multifaceted and multi layer affairs. Many of national Socialist LEFT lies are based on hidden building block lies that while hidden are the foundational underpinning’s of the left’s other lies
We’ve already alluded to the ‘;something for nothing’ or entitlement lie perpetrated by the national socialist left in that everything is somehow collectively owned and that you have to right to someone else’s property simply because you exist and/or they have more than you..
One of their favorite foundational is the Never enough lie or scam [as I said this is somewhat hidden away like the foundation of a wall and such isn’t articulated by them out in the open]
The beauty of this lie is that it automatically excuses the incessant failures of the national Socialist LEFT while setting the ground work by calling for more of the same failure.
The best example was the so-called ‘stimulus’ in the early days of the Obama regime. As implied by the name this was supposed to ‘stimulate’ the economy – it was really a massive wealth transfer (Theft) and thus it failed to do as advertised. But that didn’t matter to the national Socialist LEFT – they parroted with virtually once voice that it ‘Wasn’t enough’. Don’t ask them how would have been enough – they won’t answer you.
With regard to people control it matters not how many Federal, State, County, municipality, town and village laws, regulations and codes there are on the books… these are ‘never enough’. The ‘never enough’ lie provides them with a ready made excuse for failure of their socialist national plan of action while laying the ground work for more of the same.

No, they're trying the sneaky back door approach by taking guns away from veterans and senior citizens under the pretense of diminished mental capacity.

I’m reading Matt Bracken’s, Enemies Foreign an Domestic right now. I know it’s fiction but it could happen here.
Just remember that was back in the heady days after Obama stole.. won is 2nd term and it looked like the Socialist Left was sweeping the nation.
Back then they thought the were in ascendency and gun grabbing was in the offing.
It has most recently resurfaced over the past 30 years or so.
Different politicians, different gun laws, but in the end, it's all the same; they're too chicken$hit to try gun confiscation, too many of their people will be slaughtered.

Excellent reading choice. I can't say enough positive about the whole trilogy as well as his follow-on Castigo Cay.
I changed jobs in January and now I travel often and spend a lot of time in airplanes. I re-read them all this spring. I wish he would hurry up and write some more. The series is almost begging to be made into a movie.
They also profess to caring about the ‘little guy’ but do all they can to make them defenseless against criminals and government.
It is my contention that those in the national socialist elite should have to endure a time period out in the real world without their armed security details (incognito if necessary), BEFORE calling for the ‘little guy’ to be disarmed.
That kind of thing would cut down on their pontification on the subject.
