The U.S. Navy is denying reports that it will file charges against a naval officer who used a weapon to return fire against Chattanooga gunman Muhammad Abdulazeez during last month's deadly attack.

My guess is that they backed off due to public pressure, but this officer's career is ruined. His next posting will probably be some Garbage Skow off the Coast of New Jersey.

Read carefully the statement. They DID NOT say no one WOULD be charged. What they said is that no had been charged AT THIS TIME.
The article is not accurate. It says no one will be charged. Ain’t what the statement says.
The Nay appears to be the front runner on which service can be the most girly-girl.
Hopefully, the Marines will be forced to invade the Pentagon and tar and feather the jokes called “Admiral” currently dorking up the fleet.

I am sure the initial push for charges came from the White House.
I think they got caught, and are crawfishing until the heat dies down.
