Read carefully the statement. They DID NOT say no one WOULD be charged. What they said is that no had been charged AT THIS TIME.
The article is not accurate. It says no one will be charged. Ain’t what the statement says.
The reporter in question is a disgrace to an already disgraceful paper. Or former paper. They are mostly online now.
