Jeb would probably run 3rd partyWho'd vote for him? The only reason he's a fave of the elite is because if he's the nominee they don't really care if he wins or loses, and they don't want anyone they haven't bought or blackmailed to win.

Neither was inevitable, or even probable. "Things change" if you are assuming the unlikely. Things don't change, at least not in that way, if you observe things objectively. Hillary was always a flawed candidate, which is why she lost in '08. Jeb was just a fiction of the DC cartel's imagination. No, you are wrong in your implication. Trump is not only the front-runner at this point, he is on the precipice of a landslide election not seen in 30+ years.

Interestingly, one thing that I think will really help Trump is that when people actually hear Walker speak, and what he has to say, they’ll drop him like a hot potato and Trump will get most of those votes. I would expect Cruz to ge the ones that Trump doesn’t.
