GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush says human activity is contributing to climate change and the country has an obligation to work to stop it.
I think its appropriate to recognize this and invest in the proper research to find solutions over the long haul but not be alarmists about it, Bush said in an interview published Thursday with Bloomberg BNA.
We should not say the end is near, not deindustrialize the country, not create barriers for higher growth, not just totally obliterate family budgets, which some on the left advocate by saying we should raise the price of energy so high that renewables then become viable, he added.
The remarks differ from comments Bush made as recently as June on the issue, when he recognized that the climate is changing but questioned whether human activity plays a role something the vast majority of scientists in the field believe.

GOO GOO G'JOOB!”
Translation of what Jeb Bush just said.
DISQUALIFIED!
Bring on the next candidate.
Is Jeb really in this thing to win?
He sounds more like Hillary everyday. If the GOPe wants to waste a few hundred million on him, have at it.
You can be sure there are hundreds, maybe thousands of sharpies out there nagging their Democrat friends, with their hands out for federal funds to `give it the old college try’ in defeating “climate change”.
And now it looks like Yeb would give it to them. What a surprise.
Humans don’t contribute to the Dauphin Arbusto’s campaign...
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don’t!”
He’s counting on democrats to vote in the republican primaries since Hillary is locked in.
FFS, get the EFF off the STAGE you elitist MORON.
Sooo many people feel the need to say they believe in climate change, or that people contribute to it.
The evidence indicates no such thing.
There's a reason for that. It is not Republican vs. Democrat, it is Elitist vs. Populist.
Maybe not. He’s getting closer and closer to being the democrats’ nominee.
This is not an issue I want my Presidential candidate speaking on worrying about etc. It is meaningless. We need jobs, border security, better citizen control of our healthcare, and less ass kissing of our enemies........
Tell me again why Jeb is running as a repub? He’s obviously not conservative on any issue.
Open borders, you bet! Climate change, you bet! He probably even supports PP ghouls.
If not for his last name Jeb could win the Democratic nomination.
And Jeb Bush contributes to ongoing political bull$hit.
I will write in a character from Disney...not sure which one.
