BUT, what is interesting is Cruz proposed amendments to The Gang Of 8 Bill. Meaning he would vote for it.
His amendments, besides border security and rule of law rhetoric were: "expand green card opportunities" ("the Gang of Eight would have dispensed more than 30 million green cards in its first ten years. A green card is an immigration document that authorizes immigrants to collect welfare and become voting citizens, among other things.")
increase high-skilled “H1B” visas. Lord knows we don't have enough "high skilled" workers in this country already. (was someone saying something about Chamber of Commerce?)
