Jeb Bush says he'll be in Iowa regularly in the coming months as he seeks the Republican presidential nomination.
The former Florida governor and 2016 hopeful spoke with Iowa Republicans on a telephone town hall meeting Tuesday night. Bush, who was calling from Miami, touted his executive experience, pledging to grow the economy, create jobs and offer a message of optimism for the future.

Telephone town halls are designed specifically so that the candidate or incumbent doesn’t have to personally come in contact with a real person and be confronted with reality.

Well, holding a telephone town hall as opposed to a real town hall meeting certainly does lessen the chances of his being laughed off the stage.

Maybe we need to think this through. I honestly don’t know how these things work. If I stayed on the line, would I actually get to ask a question? A question that Jeb would not like?
