After having listened to virtually everything Trump has said since announcing his run, his Obama comments seem pretty tame. IIRC, nice guy, he’ll be terrific, blah, blah... To me, they were polite platitudes. No one, even the blunt Trump is going to say that, then.
After Obama crashed and burned, he said something about having hoped he’d at least do something (can’t recall the something) with the implication he was a flop at that as well.
For those concerned about his period as a D, all I can say, is if I had a choice between Boehner/McConnell and a principled old school D who wasn’t either a globalist or a crypo-Marxist and didn’t mind bucking the party, they’d be preferable in many ways. On Breitbart Boehner’s rating is 35% and McConnell’s ‘soars’ to a whopping 52%. I suspect there are D’s who are higher!
No wonder most R’s are pulling their hair out with this pair holding the chamber leadership reins. Does anyone know if this dynamic duo can be recalled, lol?
Agree with you totally! I supported McCain because of Palin. It was a dismal election.
The reason I posted what I did was bc of a pernicious rumor that seemingly will not die. Namely, somebody somewhere claimed that Trump supported Obama over McCain, and it has become the vampire of falsehoods (though in this case no amount of stakes through the heart suffice). It pops up everywhere. I just visited Trump Twitter, and people are even posting it there.
All we can do is point out that it is a lie. But from what I have seen, that doesn’t help much.

LOL. I agree that telling a Dem from a Pubbie these days isn’t Rocket Science but it’s close.
But there is a difference that is detectable: There are at least 3 or 4 Repulican Senators who are actually honorable men. Not so with the Dems. Likewise there may be at least a half a dozen GOP honest Congressmen. Are there any Dems? I doubt it.
