Korbin Forrister, a 22-year-old race car driver from Georgia, has developed an interest in politics the past couple of years. At the Camping World Truck Series race Wednesday night at Eldora Speedway, he will combine those two passions.
Forrister, who didn't have a sponsor for the race, decided to decal the SS Green Light Racing No. 08 truck with "Trump For President" -- the first but likely not the last time NASCAR drivers will carry messaging for candidates in the 2016 presidential election.
Donald Trump's presidential campaign is not paying for nor does it have any connection to the truck for the race, which is notorious as the only dirt-track race in NASCAR's three national series. Forrister, who typically has Tilted Kilt logos on his truck, is competing in his first full truck season and sits 15th in the standings with a best of 12th this year in the 2015 season opener at Daytona.
"I support Donald Trump, and I wanted to show it in this race," Forrister said Wednesday after practice. "We didn't have a paint scheme, and I figured it would be a cool race to do it. It is 100 percent me. I wanted to do it.
"I like what he's trying to do. I feel like he would do a great job running our country."

Like him or hate him, Donald Trump has taken control of the narrative, and people are noticing.
Fly the Confederate Battle Flag off the Bed too!
or he Don’t Tread on Me Flag, or both!
NASCAR has become so corporate-dominated and politically correct, I wouldn’t be surprised if they ban the Trump ad on the car.
Probably NASCAR encouraged opener to get back in The Donald’s good graces!
Not to be outdone, Obama promised to have an entry too...
I like the Tilted Kilt and Trump, good for him.
I am sure Trump will be sending a check, just to burn some ass.
Tilted Kilt Power!!!
Great food and beverage!!
If NASCAR bans him it will become a bigger story. That they are considering it though.
Fly the Confederate Battle Flag off the Bed too!

Nascar wouldn’t let him on the track....... They are in the process of developing
rules about the flag at their tracks.
