In the wake of two videos allegedly showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted fetal body parts, Republicans in Congress are working to ensure that Planned Parenthood is stripped of its federal funding.
However, its not only the government that fills Planned Parenthoods coffers. According to 2nd Vote, a website and app that tracks the flow of money from consumers to political causes, more than 25 percent of Planned Parenthoods $1.3-billion annual revenue comes from private donations, which includes corporate contributions.

Harass these companies on Twitter. COmpanies don’t like bad attention.
“Looks like my call may have given them a head up??? I heard Ford Motor Company was just pulled from the list and told Planned Parenthood to take their name off the PP site as supporters.”
Wow, that’s wonderful news.
I feel that if only a small amount of people call, they know there are many others who are against giving $$ to Planned Parenthood who won’t call, but will still boycott them.
Thanks to people like you, they know WHY!
“Harass these companies on Twitter. COmpanies dont like bad attention.”
Excellent idea.
dear liz,
as to what to do, etc. ... I agree with your suggestions.
I do not use ‘social media’, nor do I have a blog ... I am a ‘half-Luddite’.
The local media are so ensconced in Obama’s alimentary canal, it is not funny.
Write companies? Just don’t buy their stuff!
As to the Clintons, I want hillary to run so hard, and so deep, that she falls down in front of the camera, and is taken away, frothing at the mouth! As for Bill, ditto.
Now, as to Starbucks, wayyyy before a lot of things brought Starbucks to the limelight, when all that combat started in Afghanistan and iraq, GI’s here in the CONUS 48, wanted to send their buddies Starbucks coffee. Does this story come to mind, now? Ever since then, Starbucks has been on my ‘fecal matter’ list.
Dear Sun,
Thank you for your suggestions.
I hope that your computation device does not decide to take a permanent vacation, one week before you must take time to pay all your bills electronically.
The Grand Fixer-Uppers had my Lenovo for 3 weeks, and could not divine how to bring my installed CD/DVD drive back online. (Uhh, it had to be a vicious malware to do that!) So, they had it there, thumbs embedded in their alimentary canal, and then decided to call the machine ‘void and beyond reparable condition’. The good thing was, the pre-charged repair fee of $200.00 before they did anything, was accreditted towards my purchase of a new machine (not in stock of course). Now, does the new machine have all the equivalent of my declared-dead Lenovo? NO!! But, i am doing what i can, and can pay the bills. The Lenovo? It still operates enough, as a game board for the one simulation game i had loaded on it, Silent Hunter III.
I have seen Dell machines, from the first desktop model on through, and do not care for them. I had a Gateway machine ... 3 trips to the shop in the first 6 months, it died a glorious death as a bullet-stopper for a friend on a private range. I had a previous Toshiba, so that is the direction i took.
I’m sorry for your computer troubles, and wonder if your Lenovo problem was a fluke or common.
Since I’m afraid to pay bills, etc. online, at least I don’t have to worry about that.
It sounds as if you are all set with your computer for awhile, but here’s a list of computers which use Linux, anyway (given to me by another FReeper):

dear sun,
Thanks for the info.
The fixitwizardsnot said that somehow, my Irfanview photo program had hijacked the CD/DVD drive, so I think it was a fluke, for a 2009 Lenovo model.
When i pay my bills online, i go to the light company, phone company, V.A. - yeah i know, and cable company directly. I don’t think a third party, even the bank, should pay my bills for me, besides the one time i tried the automatic pay bill thing, it happened when another cost came up and was more urgent.
