How racist of academia!
“In a Sunday column in The Washington Post, Stop laughing at Donald Trump, a liberal analyst from the Brookings Institution tries to warn the Washington, D.C. beltway elites that they should take the businessman seriously because he has figured out how to win a national electionBY TAKING THE WHITE VOTE.”
Boy, someone ON THIS SITE has been saying that for MONTHS now...it would have been nice if the Republican Party had taken my advice (and it’s backed up with data on my ‘about’ page), but if has to be Trump, then SO BE IT.
“Abrajanos co-author, Hajnal, a professor of political science at the University of California, San Diego, recently wrote that Republicans opposition to immigration reform actually represents a winning strategy, not a losing one.”
One doesn’t have to be a PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE to realize that Republicans STOPPED the Senate Amnesty bill in 2014 and went on to have a HISTORIC VICTORY over the Democrats.
Only the media and Republican Insiders and ‘advisers’ (most of them gay, by the way) would argue otherwise. And for the handful of people on this site that have trouble understanding why Republican Insiders want Open Borders, the answer is CHEAP LABOR (and reliable labor, sadly). It Big Business can get their CHEAP LABOR, they will support whoever brings it...and oppose whoever tries to stop it (i.e., Trump and Cruz).
Makes me wonder if people are just cowardly conceding defeat, or if they were only pretending to care in the first place.
Right on, the day we stop fighting for the rights of those among us least able to fight for themselves, is the day we forfeit our claim to those rights as well.
We only have inalienable rights if we ALL have those rights, and derive them from God, not from men or men’s institutions.
“The Latino Bund propaganda inflates its numbers to appear as if they are a “voting bloc.””
True, while in the real world, a lot of 2nd and 3rd generation hispanics are as “white”, culturally speaking, as anyone else. They may be a little tanner, or have a Spanish last name, but that doesn’t mean they support amnesty, any more than the descendants of other immigrants.
“The petulant rich kid act is tiring.”
I don’t think it’s an act.
Indeed!
Exactly!
The GOP candidates that are attacking Trump are for open borders and Amnesty.
This is why they attack Trump. They are nothing but frauds.
Amen.
“How many FReepers are pro-abortion and pro-homo”.
You mean like Jeb Bush, Chris Christy, George Pataki, or John Kasich? Trump says he changed his positions. These uber RINOs have never changed positions. None gives a damn about marriage and both believe in murdering babies if they don’t like who the father is. Pataki is 100% pro-abortion and queer “marriage”.
Wow EV.... Your Post #40 is AWESOME!!!
Thanks.
Thanks for your Post #42 Bob. I’ve been racking my brain saying: “Who is the FReeper whose been saying that over and over and over again?” So, it was you; huh? You go man!
That could be. Personally, I think the Trump cult of personality is just that strong, for some unfathomable reason.
I can't count how many times Trump fans have responded with "But the other guy does it" or "He couldn't be any worse than so-and-so." Hardly a ringing endorsement nor a reasoned basis for support.
"Trump says he changed his positions."
Oh, yes. He has done a complete 180 on just about every position he used to hold.
And conservatives are buying right into it, no questions asked.
This all well and good, but I am a non-white who is as Conservative as my pigment deprived neighbors who support the what Trump and Cruz are saying.
Trump has been pro-life for many years now . Against gay marriage .
"Hence, the key to Democratic Party success lies in manipulating the minority groups and immigrants into voting for Democrats in overwhelming numbers, as they currently do, while also conning a significant number of whites into voting Democrat. This is a con because the Democratic Party has no interest in protecting the interests of white people as a political or special interest group."
The guy who wrote, "The Art of the Deal" knows this. .
Why would anyone ever vote for a democrat?
