Regardless what activist justices wanted everybody to think about the so-called right to have an abortion, please consider the following. Since the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect having an abortion, activist justices never had an enumerated abortion right to throw at the states. So if Hillary Clinton really wants to defend late-term abortions within the framework of the Constitution, as opposed to condoning thug justices legislating such a vote-winning right from the bench, then this is what she needs to do.

Clinton needs to work with state and federal lawmakers to propose an abortion rights amendment to the Constitution to the states. And if the states choose to ratify Clinton’s amendment then abortion will be a constitutionally enumerated right and Clinton will be a hero.

such a vote-winning right from the bench

The "right" to a late term abortion is not a vote-winning right. Most people who understand what is involved, consider it a "right to commit an atrocity."

That Hillary considers a challenge to such a "right," extreme, tells us that she has not moderated from her Saul Alinsky days.
