I disagree. Neither are a hero in my book. That term ‘Hero’ has been overused by too many people.
I agree, she is soooooo yesterday. I just don’t see anyplace she’d fit in the current political arena.
They must have done a great Job in the 70's and 80's of creating an "Ideologically Pure" Party.

I understand what Sarah is attempting to do here. I’m sure she feels some loyalty to both McCain and Trump for different reasons, but neither of these guys are heroes by my understanding of the definition. The vast majority of people aren’t and never will be. We really need to keep true heroes vaunted and not diminished by handing out smiley faces to everyone that serves or does a good deed for the day. Just my opinion.
Oh I understand her. She’s just flat out wrong. McCain is evil. She paid her debt fairly. It should end there.
That man is responsible for the hell the media put her through because he employed the very people feeding them crap info. And that doesn’t even get into what he did to America in tanking his own election, the POW bs, the border, Keating or the rest of it.

Palin is being very clever here. This comment is a direct shot at McCain, while in the headline she appears to be praising him.
That reality is something we should keep in mind when are discussing this subject.

Trump is Trump and he's, at the very least, a social liberal who has wrapped himself in nationalism. He is playing his Apprentice reality show now in the real time venue of presidential politics. Trump is throwing lots of cold, hard truth mud on McCain, Perry and Jeb that sticks and is long overdue. He's a bomb thrower, but (currently) he's our bomb thrower....for now, and Ted Cruz is wise to tap into that Trump energy and let Trump take the proverbial "beating" by the GOPe power brokers and libmedia.
The state of our nation and the political process is so screwed up now, that it's refreshing to hear someone cut through the amnesty, border disaster, global diplomacy debacle and trade inequity PC BS, accurately identify the problems and the culprits. The problem is that it strikes a chord with people (sheeple) too trigger happy to embrace a perceived 'savior' based upon their fears instead of supporting a conservative leader. Ultimately, Trump could care less about the political outcome on him personally. When the smoke finally clears, Trump will still be worth 10 Billion or probably alot more and most probably out of the race, endorsing Cruz, in all likelihood. Either that, or he's playing a gigantic goof on the whole electorate and allowing Jeb to take the nomination, which will lead to HRC winning the GE.
Knowing Trump, he already has a plan in place to disengage from his political ambitions. He may like to play politics, but he's not about to get himself mired in the daily drudgery of governing. The man is first and foremost a self promoter, opportunist and entepreneur. He's crazy like a fox. So, it's fun to watch Trump in action, like it's fun to watch things blow up. All that smoke, fire and dazzle... Sooner or later, the show is over and the cleanup crew has to come in and sweep up. Hope it works out in conservatives' favor, because this is the last chance to undo the damage to this nation, and even that chance may not be enough.
Anyway, that's my take on the current circus performance in play. Enjoy the show.
