That’s just ridiculous. But it is what I have come to expect from the media.
Cruz, Huckabee, Santorum and Jindal are all still on my consideration list. At this point Cruz is winning with me, but I refuse to commit this early.
No one needs to bother preaching at me about who can and cannot win. I will vote for the best person for the job and let the chips fall where they fall. If they don’t win, it will be the fault of those who voted strategy over principles.

Ted was Cruzin' above the rest until a few things happened. First, his stand on wanting to quadruple H1B Visas became widely known just as the scandal of Disney laying off US workers and hiring invaders emerged. Then he dealt with the devil on that trade deal, and got burned. I don't know how he walks that back.
I just hope he makes the important distinction that he respects that McCain was a POW and endured that time heroically, but that does not excuse all of the harm McCain has done since then.
I like Ted Cruz, a lot. But he has to be a better negotiator and a bit wiser on some issues.

I'm skeptical of why Cruz is cozying up to Trump.
Cruz is a lawyer, he has said a lot of right things, but I don't fully trust him.
Possibilities:
- Cruz knows he is not likely to win the nomination, but Trump is. He's angling to be running mate.
- Cruz is just trying to stay out of the mud wrestling match by not saying anything negative.
- Cruz is trying to find Trump's weaknesses to exploit him. (Cynical view)
