Very interesting, and it took 2 atomic bombs to bring Japan to their knees and to unconditionally surrender.
I think a similar effort is needed to bring the muslim terrorist world to their knees and show them you don't mess with the U.S. of A.
I can dream, can't I?

That was a time when the U.S. wasn’t afraid or embarrassed to win.

Of course, I can remember when they (Mitsubishi) sold the “quiet technology” propellers for Russian subs that we developed too.

We did not need to wipe out the Japanese.
The muzz, however, are a disease that must be eradicated lest it crop up again like a cancer.

Or was it Toshiba? I can’t remember now.

You be thinking of Toshiba..........
Hikaru Kimura, senior executive officer for Mitsubishi Materials Corp.,
said the company offered a “most remorseful apology”
to the about 900 POWs who suffered “harsh, severe hardships”
while forced to work in Mitsubishi mines and industrial plants.

Got your back, but 12 seconds late.....

It’s been a very long time, and most of the participants have passed on, but the Japanese had a lot to be ashamed of and a lot to apologize for.

About five years ago a decorated WWII Navy Veteran in my community died, and his family placed in his obituary recollection of his ship being attacked by “Kamikaze planes with engines manufacuted by Misubishi motors”.
GOOD FOR THEM!

Japs and Germans were confined to one country and had little support outside of their own borders.
Islam is a whole other kettle of fish, it’s tentacles are worldwide and enjoy fifth column support in virtually every single country.

This is staged to open the door for Obama to apologize for the atomic bombs.
To: BipolarBob
I used to work for Mitsubishi, in Japan. They were extra careful about selling any hardware with military use outside the country. We once even refused an order from the United Kingdom for that reason.
You are thinking of Toshiba.
